Community Rules:


  • I don't police who has and who has not joined the community, but if you're planning on participating (through entering or voting) please join.
  • All icons must fit LJ specifications. That means all icons must be 40KB max, 100X100 pixels or less, and be in PNG, JPG, or GIF formats.
  • Do not post your icons anywhere else until after the challenge is over.
  • You must make a new icon in each challenge. No recycling. If you're suspected of using someone else's icon, you'll be disqualified & banned.
  • No animation is allowed. This is a still challenge therefore all icons must be still unless otherwise specified.
  • If all the rules stated above are not followed, your icon(s) will be disqualified.
  • Please post your icons in the following format:

  • Challenges will be posted Sunday. Voting will go up the following friday and will close Sunday. Banners will be posted ASAP. Sometimes RL happens and this schedule is not set in stone.

Voting Rules:


  • Voting takes place in screened comments on the Voting entry.
  • Votes are weighted, which means that the icon you give first place gets more points than the icon you give third place.
  • You can only vote for first (1st), second (2nd), and third (3rd) place.
  • Do not vote for an icon twice.
  • Do not vote for yourself or ask anybody else to vote for you.
  • Depending on the number of participants there will be a weekly Mod's Choice award.
