| I'm searching for stories that are set early first season with Blair either still living in the warehouse or where he's just moved in with Jim. I know that's really vague, but I will appreciate every rec you can throw my way. Slash, Gen, whatever I'm not really picky... I like happy endings though, and no death stories please

I was wondering if any of you knew if Kira still has her slash online anywhere. I've found some her gen sites mostly work on the Wayback Machine, but not the slash stories.
I'm especially interested in Dust In The Wind, Ten Commandments and her longer series.
I really appreciate any help you may be able to give me! TIA! =>}

| So I've read quite a few fics where for one reason or another (injuries, homophobia, blahblahblah) the Major Crimes guys (Simon, Joel, Rafe and H) along with Jim and Blair all leave the PD to start their own business (normally security of some sort). The thing is, the body of the story is always about the event that got them there, and their quitting is just mentioned at the end. I'd love to read a story that is actually more about them starting the business and working together. I'm not picky about stuff, so feel free to smudge the guidelines as you see fit. Jim/Blair would be super, but not necessary. No graphic or main pairing het though.
I hope that you come up with something, please and thank you! :) ~sky

| Looking for a fic where Blair has returned after being missing for 2 years. He has a little girl and had been kidnapped by Maya. Everyone thought he ran out on Jim and, when Blair returns, H yells at him. Blair has an injured knee and ends up staying at Simon's while he tells his story.
Thanks for the help!
Found! Thanks Annie and Victoria May's "An Everchanging Life"

| I remember that blair was getting therapy or something and it was a lady therapist. This therapist convinces him to bungee jump to get over his fear of heights. Blair jumps but he screams Jim's name the whole way down. Please if anyone could help, this has been driving me up a wall. | |

| For this to make sense, I should explain that I typically download dozens of stories at a time, usually to read later. Often, much later. Then I binge on fic (and, in the process, find all sorts of incomplete files).
So, over the weekend I read about 100 Sentinel stories, and found a couple that I have questions about. Since ya'll are the all-knowing sentinelficfind, I knew you could help me.
1. A story called 'Reunion' (first paragraph below). I vaguely remember reading this before, as the first part of a series, but there's no author's name in the file and no links that I could use to find the other stories. Is it a part of a series? If so, do you know where I could find the rest?
ETA: Since I'm getting no responses on this, I thought I'd add more of a summary for the fic. Pre-story, Blair left Cascade and, due to his senses, Jim had to quit. He ended up in a small town where he was made sheriff after the old sheriff left. Jim takes the job, but his senses are out of whack (mostly in that they don't work. At all). He runs into Blair again when Blair is in a car accident (he was in a car with several people when the car was shoved over the side of a cliff by an out-of-control semi; amazingly there are no really serious injuries). It turns out Blair has accepted a job teaching at the nearby reservation. They hook up, but they both know that Blair has to leave on Sunday to go to his new job.
"Sheriff James Ellison lay back on the windshield of his jeep, still chewing the apple from his snack, and stared up into the canopy of trees above him. For a moment the dance of late afternoon light in the leaves reminded him of the water moving past his balcony at his old loft, but before the memory could sink its claws into him, he managed to push it away. Concentrating instead on the spaces between the leaves, he let go of thought, for just a few minutes, he promised himself, and let his mind drift."
2. I read the first two parts of the Lifebond Series by CalicOcat, which were both excellent. Unfortunately, it looks like that's all there is. I'm thinking of taking a crack at adding on to the series, but I don't have any way of contacting her (outside of her website, which I have tried -- no response so far) -- does anyone know if she's still in fandom and/or have a way of reaching her?
Thanks in advance! | |

| Wow. This seems to be the place to go if you are looking for a specific story, which I definitely am. In this story, Blair is being stalked which causes Jim's primal instincts to go all haywire. It is a slash first time story. On one part, they are at a baseball game when Jim smells a scent that was on a present that Blair got and he goes all primitive and throws Blair over his shoulder or something and takes him back to the loft. They get a lead and talk to the sister-in-law of the person they think it is, who is worried because she is pretty sure the guy killed her sister (his wife). That's pretty much all I can remember. Hope it's enough. Thanks! Current Mood: hopeful That's It! Thank you so much! And boy was that quick. Thanks again! | |

| Imagine you are feeling slightly blue and you know just the thing to cheer yourself up. And that thing is TS fic. What's your favorite pick-me-up read? If you happen to be one of those people for whom lots of angst makes you feel better (hey, it's a totally valid lifestyle choice), I'd ask you to restrain yourself here, or at least provide a warning with your rec. Angst before the end is okay, but I'm really looking for generally upbeat, entertaining, all around fun stuff.
Thank you kindly. | |

| I've read loads of "sentinels are known" type AUs, and in most of them sentinels are either treated as normal (equal) members of the community, or as an underclass (or actual slaves).
Therefore, I'd like to read some fics where sentinels are generally admired, revered, etc. Whether it's as simple as the public considering them all to be heroes, or something more pronounced, such as sentinels being the aristocracy, or even regarded as minor deities.
If there are any fics of this type around, I'd be really grateful for the recs!
Thanks. | |
