2nd Seiyuu Awards Results
Different from last year, this year's Seiyuu Awards had a lot of nominees and the ultimate winner wasn't awarded because of a specific role, but a number of them. (but god knows why there are so many gundam 00 people, huh? like how last year got so many code geass people, hah)
主演男優賞：宮野真守 ( 劇団ひまわり)
Best Actor in a Leading Role: Miyano Mamoru (Gekidan Himawari)
Great performances in Koutetsu Sangokushi as Rikuson Hakugen, and in Kidou Senshi Gundam 00 as Setsuna F Seiei. Although he played a number of main roles in 2006, his 2007 roles had rather different images with his previous ones and became a topic of conversation.

She won the Best Rookie Actress in the 1st Seiyuu Awards. After her great breakout in Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu as Suzumiya Haruhi, she's been very active and has played Reira in NANA, Amane Misa in Death Note, and Izumi Konata in Lucky Star. She has also published photobooks, appeared on TV, been active as a singer, etc., energetically engaged in her work. A noteworthy 20 year-old now and in the future.

He has been active as main roles in a number of works in 2007, and one can't take their eyes off him in 2008 either.
Kamiya Hiroshi
In Kidou Senshi Gundam 00, he plays Tieria Erde, a character whose emotions are difficult to express; in Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, he plays Itoshiki Nozomu, a character with very strong characteristics. His delicate expressiveness has been highly appraised.
(for some reason i think the descriptions for the supporting males are better than the leading roles ones =w =)

Although she plays a lot of male roles such as Yuuki Kei in Moyashimon and Rossiu Adai in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, her solid acting abilities continue to fascinate fans. She played the main role in Terra e... as Jomy Marcus Shin.

Hatano Wataru
His great performance in Terra e... has given a sense of existence to his character Sam Houston, the nice young man being trifled with just because he was an ordinary person. Also, his other roles such as Yuri the angel in Saint Beast have brought him a lot of female fans. He has been attracting attention since.
Yonaga Tsubasa
As a rookie, his main roles in Ookiku Furikabutte as Mihashi Ren and in Kishin Taisen Gigantic Formula as Suwa Shingo and his fresh acting skills have fascinated the audience and brought him sudden attention. The future activities of this rookie would be greatly anticipated too.
