Abouthi, welcome to secret sketchbook.
alright, i came up with the idea for this commmunity because of my frustration over artistis block.. or artists fear in my case. at any event, i hit a point where i was soo worried about art being perfect, composistion, line, form, etc.. that i was too afraid to make art at all.
that's where this came into play. this community is designed to make art fun again. it's as simple as that.
here's some general posting guidelines.
- post anything and everything from a sketch that you took 5 seconds to draw to a masterpiece that took you 3 months to complete. DONT BE AFRAID to post anything. this is a total no pressure situation. no one's going to make fun of your work or you and no ones going to expect the best out of you. just post what you had fun with, or what frustrated you... whatever you need to get out of your system.
- constructive criticism only in replys to posts.. just be nice to everyone.
- be considerate of everyone's browser needs, try to keep the images at a modest size. if they're too big, use a link.
- consider all work on this site copyrighted by the owner. in other words, dont rip other people off. a huge part of art is based on who your inspired by.. just dont steal other people's ideas.

- if you have any ideas, questions, comments, suggestions... whatever. feel really free to e-mail me. asleeptoday@aol.com i'de love to get feedback, especially since this is soo new
- if your having troubles getting image hosting, but still want to participate, let me know. i have a limited amount of space as of right now and would be willing to host some images, within reason.. nothing huge... and by summer time i should have more space so i can host alot more and work on a secret sketchbook website, if this is working out.
i think that's all for now. thank you for taking the time to read this. just always remember that art is supposed to be fun. and this is a place to hopefully let it be fun.
