| About: | Hi everyone! I started this community in hopes to spread a little Holiday cheer to all the wonderful people I've met in the LJ selling world! I will be calling this project "Secret Santa." Here's how it works: I will be taking names of everyone who would like to be a Secret Santa to another LJ user UNTIL NOVEMBER 23 (Thanksgiving day). Either on Thanksgiving or the day after Thanksgiving, I will send you information about your Secret Santa (I will include in their email their address and the survey they filled out with their wants). I will be posting lists of who had what names a few days AFTER Christmas. Even though you receive someone's name as a Secret Santa doesn't mean they will get their name. For example, Cari, Amy, Erin, and Heather are all participating. The list may look something like this: Amy sends to Heather Heather sends to Erin Erin sends to Cari Cari sends to Amy You must be able to spend at least $10.00 on your Secret Santa (that does not include shipping costs). PACKAGES MUST BE SHIPPED BY DECEMBER 13TH TO ENSURE THAT YOUR SECRET SANTA RECEIVES THEIR PACKAGE BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!! That gives you 3 weeks to purchase, wrap, and ship packages. RULES +You MUST have SELLER FEEDBACK SOMEWHERE online. I would rather have LJ feedback, but may consider feedback from other sources providing it is significant feedback AND you can prove that it is yours. I will accept e-bay feedback as long as you have some seller feedback AND you email me using the same email address as is listed with e-bay. NO EXCEPTIONS! NO FEEDBACK, NO JOINING! This community was created for LJ sellers. +IF you have neutral or negative feedback, you can still join this community IF you have significant feedback with very few negative feedbacks AND you have feedback listed AFTER the negative feedback was given. Lets face it, some buyers just aren't satisified with a product or things get lost in the mail. I would rather see the negative feedback listed on your journal than removed from your feedback list. +If you are no longer able to do a Secret Santa (financial reasons, not enough time, etc) PLEASE let me know ASAP (before November 23) so I can take your name off the list. I understand that things happen! +I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR GIFT OR IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A GIFT!!! Lists of swappers will be posted a few days after Chritmas, and, if you do not receive a package, you can take this up with the person who had your name. +I can't enforce this rule, but you should save the post office receipt for proof of shipment.
