AboutWelcome! This community is like many of the other les/bi/trans/queer focused groups, but it is aimed toward the Seattle area. Please don't join if you're not in the area or at least some how involved with Seattle and the surrounding places. We'd like to keep this community within a relatively small-ish radius...

seattledykes isn't suitable... the name was choosen as a way of keeping this community less "homosexual male" oriented, because many of the other queer communities seemed to be dominated by them. If you are offended or think you have a better eye catching name please don't hesitate to post. Also, please post if you would like to suggest anything that should be added to the interests or profile. Suggesting changes in wording(in general)- also very helpful and very welcome...
