Looking to sell Magic cards, and also looking for a new roommate
My roommate moved out, leaving his room a mess and me with multiple bills, but he has many binders of Magic cards that he doesn't seem to be coming back for, so I figured I could sell them to make back some of the money he owes me. Is there anyone that knows much about Magic The Gathering cards? I'm looking to sell to anyone, private collectors, gamers, shops, I'm not picky. I am in the south end (Auburn, Kent, Renton) but can travel if necessary. If you have any tips I would love to hear them.

Also, if anyone is looking for a vegetarian and animal-friendly home (where multiple pets already exist) to rent a room (shared bathroom) in south Auburn, please feel free to contact me. Healthy, friendly and parasite-free pets welcome.

I have some friend in Kent who are hardcore Magic gamers, and they'd probably give you a fair price for the cards. Amscray could fill you in too, I'm one of the "gang of nerds that would be interestd" lol

without his explicit permission, selling them may be considered theft, regardless of what he owes you.

Good thinking, but his original intention was to pay me back from buying/reselling these cards, so I'm just taking the initiative. Plus, he has some issues with the law, and not wanting to get caught, so I don't think he would persue anything. I suppose I should give him the option, if he ever responds back.

Ebay is a good place for singles. There's secondary market price lists you can find too I'm sure.

My brother recently sold off a lot of Magic cards, and he used the website mtgfanatic.com to find out how much they were worth before finding a buyer - just to make sure you don't undersell.

Let me recommend that you do not take them to Half Price Books. While that store is awesome, they have a hard time moving product like this, and they will not even deal with it if the cards are in binders.
