Legalize Minigoats NOW!
City Councilmember Richard Conlin wants to legalize miniature goats in Seattle. THIS IS A WIN because goats are:
  • human companions
  • weed eaters
  • a source of dairy products and natural fertilizer
  • a renewable source of fiber
  • useful both alive and dead

Portlanders and Everetteers already have the right to carry a concealed goat! When will our city loosen its stranglehold on this versatile and adorable creature?

A public hearing is scheduled for September 18. MAKE YOUR BLEAT HEARD! More people worldwide drink goat milk than any other animal's! They wag their tails and come and meet you, and they know their names. Goats play and butt heads with each other, play king of the mountain and do goat things. TOO ADORABLE TO RESIST. JOIN COUNCILMAN CONLIN and TOPPLE THE ANTI-GOAT STATUS QUO!

Goats are awesome! I know, I have 2 of them. (though I live in unincorperated Kitsap now, and not in Seattle anymore...) I have a La Mancha and an Alpine, and the are sweetest critters EVAR. And they <3 blackberries and dandelions, which is just fine by me. :)

The last time we had legalized mini goats, clotheslines across Seattle were vandalized! Let's learn from our mistakes and fight the mini goats now, before they infiltrate our homeland and force us to fight them here!

Another use for goats, though not one I endorse: "Airline sacrifices goats to appease sky god"
I don't know whether mini-goats are good enough for sky gods, however.
