_spiderfaerie. We shall post our icons here for whoever wants to use them, and yeah.

This journal is friends only, as explained in the only visible public entry. Please read that if you desire, and comment on it if you want to be added to this journal's friends list and view our icons. If you want to be removed from this journal's friends list at any time, simply make a comment on that entry again. I've listed it in the journal's memories in case you don't want to go search for it buried under heaps of other entries.

RULES:
1. If you take one of our icons, leave a comment in the entry the icon was posted in saying you're going to use it. It doesn't matter whether you use it right away or save it for later, we just want to know that our icons are being used (and so we can check that you're crediting us XP).

2. You must credit us in your keywords, icon comments or userinfo! Unless you're incredibly lazy, it's NOT that difficult to do. XP Credit either

_spiderfaerie depending on who made the post. You can also credit

seaspirits. In your keywords, just typing in one of our usernames is fine. In your userinfo, you can put say a little blurb such as "thanks

seaspirits for my icon!"

If we find you may have accidentally forgotten to credit us once in a while, that's perfectly fine...we'll simply remind you politely to please credit us. If it's apparent you're deliberately not crediting us, ignoring our warnings, and things like that, we'll give you a final warning and if you either don't give credit or take down the uncredited icons you're using that are made by us within a reasonable amount of time, we'll remove you from the friends list of this journal.

3. If you're using our icons on LiveJournal, just disregard this: Do not direct link our icons! Please save to your computer and upload to where you're using them. The reason for this is that if you're, say...directly linking to an image on my server, it eats up my bandwidth, and eventually if enough of it is used within a month it could temporarily put my site down until a certain date, when the bandwidth is restored. We don't want this to happen, because if one is like me and are paying for their hosting services, that could make and entire month's worth of payments worthless. If you can't upload directly, and NEED to directly link to them, you can use a free image hosting service. I personally recommend Photobucket, or if you're on Boomspeed (they can't seem to make up their mind on whether they want to accept free registrations or not), then they're sufficient as well.
