The Dive from Clausen's Pier
Don't forget to watch The Dive from Clausen's Pier tonight on Lifetme, 9 PM ET/8 PM CT
"Michelle Trachtenberg ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Ice Princess") stars in this film adaptation of Ann Packer's novel as Carrie Beal, a young woman who's beginning to realize she's fallen out of love with her childhood sweetheart (now fiance) Mike (Will Estes, "American Dreams"). Suddenly, Mike is paralyzed in a tragic diving accident, leaving Carrie feeling more confused then ever. Seeking solace in the hustle and bustle of city life, Carrie leaves her small town for New York City -- and a mysterious older man (Sean Maher, "Firefly") she only recently met. It's now up to Carrie to finally figure out where she belongs in the world. The question is: Can she?

She wasn't bad. The perfect hair bothered me. Also the "I sold my car and now I can afford to go to a design school in new york" thing didn't quite mesh well in my head. But OMG! SEAN'S SHOULDERS!

::blinks:: my sister was going to watch this but um well now I have to make sure my sister doesn't. it was bad enough with that jeremy sumpter movie...she's 12 years old >< but she loves michelle tratchenberg...i better lock out this channel for that night.

i was sorta gonna watch it too. only for Sean though.

and is she OLD enough for that?

There is a lot of sex in this film. Which is why it's good for us ladies --- I've compared it to porn as it has a dumb plot but the most BEAUTIFUL MAN IN THE WORLD and his NAKED SHOULDERS. ::is shallow::

So, I'd recommend that teh 12 yr old sis misses out on this because the message is also very misleading for the impressionable young lady, I must say. It's only worth it to see aggressive!Sean.

From all accounts the movie sounds like a stinker, but it looks like Sean knows how to kiss.

This movie. Is so all about the pretty. You totally win for making/posting caps. I totally don't understand why I haven't seen more caps floating around 'cause dude, he is astoundingly gorgeous in this. (And MT looks rilly pritty in a lot of it, too.)
