I'm not sure what to do, maybe you all might know the answer to this. XD

A couple weeks ago, my bigger Sea-Monkeys had babies (or so I thought) then died. I couple days after they had died I noticed little fish like things swimming around, assuming that they're sea-monkey babies. However, Its been quite a while now since that happened, and they don't seem to be getting bigger. I give them food every week and nothing seems to happen. The part thats actually bothering me is how they swim. Its not like how any sea-monkeys I've had in the past have ever acted. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but Sea-Monkeys swim in a "jittery" type motion, for a lack of better words. But what I see in my Sea-Monkey tank swims nothing like that. They kind of glide through the water, not exactly like a swiming motion what so ever.

I'm really becoming convinced that these aren't sea-monkeys, and they're something else that might have been killing my Sea-Monkeys, possibly from that plant. Anyone have any ideas whether these are actually sea-monkeys all along, or something else, and maybe I should let the water dehydrate and start again?

Its getting closer and closer to time when I'll need to send my beloved "observation journal" to Mana-sama. Sadly enough, at first I didn't really know what to do with the journal but now I've kinda become attached to it and I don't really want to give it up, but since its for Mana, I'll have to. I don't really mind giving it up to him of all people, its just sad to see the journal go. XD

Before I write any current journal entries, I was going to say I plan on writting my last entry and get the entire journal prepared to send to Mana on March 19, then I will probably send it off on the 20th. I figured since I wont be going to Germany to the concert on Mana's birthday, I might as well do something nice for him anyway. I plan on writting a birthday entry as the final one (You'll understand it when you see it lol), but I'm going to add in a couple pages after that. I would like to make an about me type of page because I'm sure he's like any other person and would probably kind of like to know a little bit about the person he sent his Sea-Monkeys to, and also a page dedicated to all of Mana's fans who now own Sea-Monkeys because of him.

If you have any pictures you would like to contribute to that page, I would be more than happy to put them in. ^^ Since many people seemed to have boughten the same tank Mana did, it might be a little hard to tell everyone's from each other, so try to do something that makes your distinguished from the others; ie- a picture of yourself with your sea-monkeys, or just tell me your name (or nickname your go by) that I can write in next to the picture. If you're uncomfortable with publicly giving out either of those options (through a comment on this post), then you can just send me the picture/information through email that you would like me to put in the journal. my email is: lolitadoll.mana@gmail.com

If you don't have Sea-Monkeys but have been participating in this LJ community, you can also make it in as well. A few entries back, I had written to Mana about this community and how helpful you guys have been. I would be honored to show my graditude to everyone here by including you in the book whether you own Sea-Demons or not. ^^ I will also put in any messages, art, etc you would like to send Mana as well in it.

Short but sweet journal entry I pretty much made for the fun of it. Basically, its just a "story" I made up of me and my Sea-Monkeys on Valentines Day. XD No, I didn't seriously give them all the stuff in the pictures for those who would actually even dare to think that...lol Anyway, just as a warning, its kind of image heavy.

TODAY February 2, 2006


Here it is exactly one week later. It's still got a lot of evaporating left to do and I often check just in case one of the Sea Demons come about but no such luck. :x So I'm going to try to order a pack soon. I know I need the Water Purifier stuff but I don't know which pack to get because I would like all the other things too, like the Banana Treats and the medicine. I'll figure it out.
And I still wish it was automated ordering. -_- Mailing forms takes way too long.

And I'm going to try setting up a live Sea Demon cam for anyone to watch! :D

I haven't kept this place up much with my journal entires so heres one huge post of everything I've written since the last post. XD Its so much to read and a few pictures, but if you have nothing better to do you can read all these pointless journal entires I've made. They're just that exciting. X3

wooo don't ask where half of that in the last entry came from. XD I think i was in a really good mood and had to write something to someone and Mana got targeted. XDD Yes, I'm seriously sending him a random flip book I colored too. Print it out, here I printed out a few other pages too. I have found a new joy in coloring now lol.

I'm getting the Essencial pack. Its 8 packages for $18. I'm not sure if it comes with more than one package of food or not since it says a year supply, but that actually is a pretty good deal for sea-monkey merchandise. If you want to buy packages individually they're $3 plus $4 S&H. Thats kinda why i'm buying the huge package, S&H seems rather high to me. :\ oh well.

How exciting. They've grown so much in only 24 hours. Unfortunately, I couldn't post about it last night because I didn't come home until late so anyway, if you feel like catching up to my current-ness have fun reading. XD

Yes, I realize I said heres a FEW pictures but the others didn't turn out so well and I couldn't even see any of the Sea-Monkeys in the other pictures. They were just kinda crappy. ^^;; Oh well, it will probably work when they get bigger. XD

Journal Entry #2

I finally got to add in the Sea-Monkey eggs! How exciting. ^^ I had waited all day eagerly to do that and once I did, it felt like I was creating something wonderfukl. Kinda like I just created a new world and gave its civilians life. Talk about playing God! (laughs) I was hoping to be able to see something right away, but of course, I couldn't. Oh well, maybe in a couple days I'll be able to.
At first today, I grew somewhat worried thinking of my Sea-Monkeys. I realized they will need oxygen soon so they don't die and I have no idea where to find package with the oxygen stones around here. Fortunately, my friend came over today and gave me some sort of pump-like oxygen creator specially designed for the Sea-Monkeys. I think hes going to buy himself a new one for his own Sea-Monkeys. He said his are really big now (You've influenced a lot of people I know to buy Sea-Monkeys).(^^)v Now I just have to wait to actually be able to see my little Sea-Demons. ♥

yup. I'm a loser and I sound like a suck up. XD I'm not really sure how to write these journal entries...I never really write notes to people, so I hope that will be ok. I figure after a while I'll get used to it but for now they're kinda shakey. ^^;

My sea monkeys survived! :D When I finally got to feed them they were swimming around joyfully chowing down on their first meal. I set my camera up to get a photo, but my cute little sea demons are so energetic they show up blurry^^;;

I finally got my Sea-Monkeys from Mana today!! *excited* I must say, when I got it I was trying to stay perfectly calm but my mom was all excited for me and kept saying "Hurry up!! open the box faster, open the box faster!!! Do you need me to do it for you?! You're not opening fast enough!!"

I'd just glare at her and tell her to stop being so childish. oohh but on the inside my heart was beating a mile a minute. Anyway, rather than just explaining everything, I'll just SHOW you. X3

So thats my story of my new Sea-Monkeys from Mana in picture form. I'm really bad at explaining but oh well, I'm sure I made my point clear. Now for my first journal entry to Mana!

Hey! :D My sea demons were just hatched on Jan.11th at approximately 11:00pm. I wasn't able to get a photo yet because they're realllly tiny, but here they are when I put the eggs in. Hopefully they won't die and I'll be able to share some photos and stories of them.

As Mana put it, I will be starting a "new life walk" with my Sea-Monkeys I will be receiving from him soon. I figured since nobody ever posts on here, I will use this LJ community to keep everyone updated with the Sea-Monkeys I receive from Mana and to also show you all the journal updates I will be sending him as well. (of course, expect to see many pictures! X3)

The journal is a daily process that I have to write in (or...almost every day?). I will try to keep the updates going along with the journal so expect an update almost every day on here as soon as I receive them.


This isn't to discourage ANYONE from writing in this community, infact, I would be more than happy if everyone were to be able to share their Sea-Monkey stories so please, do write about yours as well! (Life can get boring if one person is doing everything single handedly).

Finally, my last idea I wanted to share with everyone here (not that there really is too many people, but whatever XD). Please send me your Sea-Monkey pictures of your own Sea-Monkeys because I'd like to make a special page in the journal I will be sending to Mana of my friends who have been raising their own Sea-Monkeys.

Hello everyone. Welcome to the Mana Sea-Demon community! ^^ Many of us have been inspired by Mana to buy our own Sea-Demons recently and sic_zohar told me to make a community on them so I did. XD

I had my own Sea-Demons recently, unfortunately they went through a tragic accident and passed away. :\ Please rest in peace, my friends. None the less, I may get Sea-Demons again some day..at least I hope so. They're actually very fun pets to have and they don't make a mess nor do you really have to take much care of them. Here is a picture of the Sea-Demons I owned:
