| About: | As long as there have been vampires, there has been the Slayer. One girl in all the world, to find them where they gather and to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their numbers. She is the Slayer. The Second Annual Bronze:Beta Sunnydale Library Contest You are tasked with writing and creating a Vampire Slayer all your own, to fill the rather drull archives of the Sunnydale Library. Whether she be from the past, present (as in S7 or 8 present) or future, you can create her history, tell her story, or just plop her into the Buffy Universe any ol' way you want (without disrupting the canon of the television show). Or, you can make it so Buffy and the Scooby Gang drop into her world. Whatever and however you want to do it. The possibilities are open-ended! There are a few rules to abide: 1st - The Slayer you create can be from any time period in the history of the Slayer. However, any BtVS characters used must be from Seasons 6, 7, or 8, if you wish to use what has been done so far in the comics. Ats characters must be from season 5 or Angel: After The Fall, if you choose to use what has been done in the comics. (This is for those who choose to have the Scoobies or Fang Gang interact with, say, a past Slayer.) 2nd - As stated, you must maintain a level of continuity in the established canon. The canon must stay true to the televised season you choose, and to the Season 8 or ATF comics if you choose to write within those venues. 3rd - Please keep your entries to 20 pages or less. Too much CAN be a bad thing. 4th - All entries are due no later than April 20, 2008! As before, please forward all entries to Menomegirl at menomegirl@alltel.net or VampSlayer at slayerfanx@msn.com. Stories will be posted in the order they are turned in, and as before there will be 3 judges for the applicants, and 3 winners. Hopefully, we'll establish a popular poll as well. ;-) Let your imaginations run wild! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Best of luck, writers!
