Hi all,
Just wanted to check in and say I got here fine. Things are a bit weird, but I'll tell you all about it when I get back. And I'm very confused about what time it is, and what meal I'm supposed to be eating. Scully, you've ruined me for the wine here, nothing is as good as that lovely stuff you have. And no one knows how to make a decent sandwich. But I've been having some lovely meat pie things, have you ever thought about anything like that?
I hope everything is okay there. Someone cuddle the cat for me if you can get him to sit still long enough. Bribe him with cheese and tell him Mom Snow misses him.

We've all seen this particular attitude before, and it can be a little disconcerting the first time after... Anyway, I'm guessing she'll be at it for a while. Who said anything about soup and sandwiches? I thought we already talked about this. We have grilled cheese. Anyway, can you picture an unhappy solo with a bowl of hot chicken noodle? You would be taking the tourist to the clinic while I scraped pasta off the ceiling. Let's explore other options (gods, now you've got me talking like you).
I was thinking it would be good to put the coffemaker and the grill machine together on the back counter so that cooking didn't interfere with counter service, that's all.

Who knew cats eat so much?
There's a lull right now, lots of people drinking the beer they just ran my ass off to draw for them. The place is about half full, maybe a bit more. A little slow for a Thursday night: maybe we need some games or something to get people in? Solo trivia. Pin the tail on the tourist. No, bad idea, some of the folks here are kind of literal. But where is everybody, anyway? |
