They only know they are drawn to…”  This is the "Out of Character" community for ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} scifantisy. scifantisy_ooc has been created for our members, so they might have an easier time contacting the others without having to struggle with email or IM (remember when those used to be convenient?). I like to keep it simple, so here's what everybody needs to know. 1) Membership of this community is completely open to everybody. 2) We encourage free speech within this blog. Any examples of bashing, disrespect, and impolite** criticism will be interpreted as an abuse of this freedom, and will result in the removal of the responsible member from both communities. In other words, behave. 3) Many things will be discussed here, and this will include changes that might take place within either community. This is your chance to speak out about anything coming up. This also means that if you don't find a change very favorable, and you missed it when the changes were discussed two weeks before... *shrugs!* 4) The possible uses for this community are listed below in order of priority: a) The request of another member's help for your up and coming story/post b) Mutual collaboration between members for an ongoing project c) Discussion/debates regarding the community at large d) Sharing of new Story ideas e) Anything else **Criticism, and impolite criticism are two different things. Members are free to let somebody know if something was said or posted they weren't keen on. I don't really have a problem with that, so long as both parties are polite and respectful towards each other. It's a very thin line, but I'm fine and comfortable with it. Impolite Critism includes the following: 1) Didn't stop when asked to, by the one being criticized 2) Used words one can't find in a school textbook. 3) Happened behind the other member's back 4) ...and will no doubt include other examples, once we've come across them. | ||
