Can I apply for membership?

At this point in time, membership is strictly run on an invitation-only basis. Don't worry - we read femslash from all over fandom every week, so if you write it, we will likely see it. And if we like what we see, we will ask you to join! It's as simple as that.





Is this community strictly for smut?

No. Members of [info]scarletwomen are welcome to post art and fic of various ratings.





Why only femslash?

We would like to ensure that femslash writers garner the attention and appreciation they deserve -- oftentimes they are looked over in the overabundance of male slash. Het and male slash are welcome as side pairings in fics and/or art primarily femslash in nature.
