Thing the first: There's a ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) farscaperewatch going on. They just started with "Premiere" this past weekend. It looks nifty, even if I'm just lurking through the comments.
Thing the second: I contacted ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) aeryn about setting up a sister community on Dreamwidth. She suggested I put the request out to the community in general, since there isn't a whole lot of activity otherwise. Is anyone else here on Dreamwidth, or considering creating an account? Would you be interested in starting up a Farscape comm over there? I'd love to see one, but I don't think I'm interested in actually running a community.
No, I don't have any invite codes yet. But open beta starts 4/30!

| Farscape Comics from Boom Studios |

I am little surprised there has not been mention of this in here already.
Has anyone else picked up the new Farscape comic, penned by Keith DeCandido, Rockne O'Bannon
Keith had previously written the only Farscape paperback I enjoyed: House of Cards.
Artwork is good, characterization is spot on. It follows directly after the final scene of Peacekeeper War both with Baby D'Argo, and Rygel wanting to go home. The one thing that still feels weird to me, carried over from the mini-series, is I don't like the way Jothee looks. It just doesn't look like Jothee but generic Luxan, but I am sure that will change.

"Boom Studios & Henson announce new Farscape COMICS!!"
Announced yesterday at the NY Comic-Con, Farscape is being brought back as a comic series by BOOM! Studios and The Jim Henson Company. BOOM! will publish a series of 4-issue mini-series that will explore and expand the Farscape universe, and will later be collected and printed in trade paperback editions.

The FARSCAPE comic book series will be taking advantage of the upcoming webisodes to be produced by The
Jim Henson Company in association with RHI Entertainment for SCIFI.COM. The webisode series will re-unite FARSCAPE executive producer Brian Henson with creator Rockne S. O'Bannon.

I'd like to see Farscape expanded into comics/books, with official continuity, such as Dark Horse Comics is doing with the Star Wars franchise. Farscape is rich like Star Wars, and I think an official continuity continuation along with webisodes/episodes would be awesome.
Ideas?

Just a quick heads up to anyone who's interested, Gigi Edgley has (what I assume to be) a small recurring role on the USA mini-series The Starter Wife, as the assistant to Kenny Kagen, the studio exec.
