Thought I'd share some cosplay! [ October 31st, 2009 @ 2:11pm ] sailorss Although this isn't necessarily doujin related... I wanted to share it anyway, because I'm really happy with how my cosplay came out! (especially since its the first one I ever made!) Life has been keeping me pretty busy (and so has making this) but I really hope to get something edited soon. I think I'm sitting on one, maybe two, translations right now = / I know I have one for JACK ROSE and a few for newer idea doujinshi (like Fragments and  Mini Garden). So for Halloween this year I decided to make a costume for myself.... naturally I choose a character from Soul Eater, an anime that I happen to really like. I should have taken my time with it more though, to make it neater. I'll probably post some more pictures of the actually process later, but right now I'm lazy (when am I ever not-lazy when it comes to LJ?). The coat was rather theraputic to make. I just kind stitched it while watching TV and stuff. It took an insanely long amount of time though. 1

Right now, I'm teaching K-12, 10 classes a day. My second placement should be much better, since it's in my specialty area. Until then, most extra things (including scanslations) are on hold. Right now I'm NY, near where I go to school, working as a GPS surveyor. It's boring, but I work with some really hot guys ^o^ So the day passes pretty well =3 Anyway, Deracine is short and sweet. Please enjoy. The postscript mentions that PW4 might be released this summer... but I don't think she's done with it yet. It's probably ending up being longer than she originally anticipated. As soon as it's released we'll get our hands on it... So please stop emailing me about it. I have also gotten several emails about the Blue Flame series. It was released by Impossible-Soup years ago and the zips, to the best of my knowledge, are no longer available. We are planning to release it again sometime in the future, but I haven't finished (started) editing them yet for various reasons. I'm sorry for those of you who are waiting for the rest of the series... please be patient and try google searching for the old Neutral releases. They must be out there somewhere. Also, though I didn't mean this to be a rant post... I really wish people would stop emailing me silly questions that have nothing to do with SC or doujinshi. You know who you are. I can't help everyone, and getting a ton of emails a day in which more than half of them are nonsense makes it harder for me to answer the emails that actually pertain to SC. Please refrain from doing that in the future. Hmm... more news? I think Miniature Garden will be the next one I edit, but I can't remember at the moment if I have good scans for that or not. Not having my desktop with me is very much a pain in the arse. I will have normal internet acess again starting in August... can't wait ^^ Hope everyone enjoys the release! Progress/Edits [ June 1st, 2009 @ 2:12am ] sailorss [ music | Incubus ] Precious Wonders 3 is coming along nicely. I'm about halfway through at this point, and I hope to be done by Wednesday. The pages that are left don't have much text on them, so I should be able to finish it soon! To prove that I'm not completely incompetent, and a bit sadistic, here are some teasers: ( Yummy teasers behind the cut! ) Suffer until Wednesday... MUAHAHAHA >: ) Also, I did some rereading of the PW series for continuity... and... I found some annoying errors -_-;;;; I was so bothered, I fixed them all.
