AboutWelcome to scalewars. I started this community in hopes of providing a truly supportive place for the eating disordered. Membership will be open until a solid member group forms. After that, membership will be moderated to keep the "community" feel. You must join and THEN go to the introduction post. If you are self-diagnosed, please make sure you are doing so correctly: eating disorder diagnostic criteria.
You must join scalewars to view all entries.
Community Rules
- After you join, INTRODUCE YOURSELF! You are more than just numbers!! Let us know what you're all about. Favorite movies, music, hobbies, anything.
- If you join, participate. Scalewars will eventually switch to closed membership. If you lurk, you'll be removed to make room for someone who will post.
- No "ana/mia" talk..this is an obvious one.
- Please post all pictures behind a cut. In the cut, please place a warning for low BMI (under 17.5) or any visible SI.
- Please do not alter the font, text color, or size in your entries. Bold, italic, underline, etc. are fine.
- If you post your stats, do not make negative comments after any weight. That's an easy way to make someone else feel pretty crappy.
- Off-topic discussion is fine and encouraged.
- Please do not post your telephone number! Add the person as a friend. What you do in your personal journal is your choice :)
- Anyone giving tips will be warned once and removed from scalewars after the second offense. There are plenty of communities that "teach" girls to develop eating disorders..this is not one of them.
