AboutWelcome to the SCA Cookery community!
All recipes not including New World ingredients are welcome, as are suggestions for clever substitutes of Old World ingredients for New. So go ahead and review your favourite feasts and dishes, ask how you would prepare your favourite meal in an appropriately Medieval way, discuss the proper order in which to serve courses, weep when something doesn't come out quite right, or rejoice at the perfect feast you coordinated. I know that SCA is right there in the community name, but non-SCA folk interested in Medieval cookery are also very welcome.
Rules:
1) Be polite. We are all decent, civilised people here, so let's try and act like it.
2) No quiz results. At all. This means you.
3) If you want to post a picture here, please use an LJ cut.
4) Try to stay resonably on topic.
Feel free to pimp related communities and websites, and suggest some more things to go under "interests".
