AboutAre you in the Society for Creative Anachronism and interested in the Arts and Sciences?
If so, this is the community for you. This a place to talk about your current project and/or to get advice/comments/critiques about it. All of which is very helpful when considering entering the item into an A&S competition.
Community Rules:
- Place all large photos [or multiple photos] of prjects under an LJ-Cut. A small "teaser" photo may be posted above the LJ-Cut.
- Community members who merchant their artistic fodder at SCA events [and are actual members of the SCA] are allowed to post advertisements for the event they'll next be merchanting at. Place one descriptive sentence about the product(s) being offered then place all details about where, when, etc. under an LJ-Cut.
- Postings about A&S competitions and Classes are allowed. Place the name of the competition and the Known World location in the title of the entry. Supply a few opening sentences then place all additional details behind an LJ-Cut.
About the maintainer of the community:
My name is Sayyidah Khalidah bint Yahya'a [AOA, OGD, OGR, CSH] and I currently live in the Barony of Unser Hafen/Caer Galen in the Kingdom of the Outlands. I am a protege to Mistress Theresea die Tanzerin [OP] and have been a student to Mistress Ava Trudine of Tregoenning [OL]. I've been in the SCA for over 23 years and have had an interest in the A&S since my youth. My current areas of A&S interest are textile research, embroidery, cooking, baking, garb making, brewing, cordial making, subtleties and persona development.
