Let this be the motto of the SB/RL GloveSmack.
So, what the crap is the SB/RL GloveSmack, anyway? Well, as it's username may or may not suggest, this is a Harry Potter Fanfiction/Fanart challenge site, specifically devoted to slashing Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. It is named for that brilliant and somewhat antiquated notion of smacking people in the face with a glove in order to challenge them to a duel.
How to Play:
1. Post a challenge! Challenges can be posted one at a time, or in clumps. They can be as detailed as you like, or as vague as you like. Challenge posts should be labelled in the subject line.
2. Claim a challenge! Leave a comment on a challenge post claiming it. Sorry, only one author/illustrator can claim each challenge, unless it's a drabble!challenge.
3. Write a fic!/Draw a pic! Fic length is up to the author, unless specified in the challenge, but try to keep fics fairly short, so that challenges get quick responses.
4. Post your response! Post responses to challenges as seperate entries, so that other members can review in the comment boards. Please post stories and art behind an lj-cut, (find out how here) and please friend-lock any posts with graphic content.
5. Rinse and Repeat!
Rules:
1. 18 and over only. All ratings and genres of fic/art are allowed, and it's obviously all slash. If you are under 18, we do not dispute your maturity -we just don't want your parents to sue us.
2. All stories must contain Sirius/Remus as the primary pair of characters, though not necessarily as the primary pairing. Friend!fic, preslash, postslash, and other pairings are allowed, as long as Sirius and Remus are the focus of the story/artwork.
3. No off-topic discussion is allowed. All posts to the communty must be challenges or responses (or admin announcements). Any other posts will be deleted.
