If you didn't read our twitter update or if you're not a member of our forums, we've dropped ROMES and annouced this about a week ago. Sorry for the inconvience but none of the translation staff is into this drama and do not want to be confined to subbing something we do not enjoy watching.

There is another group (or person?) subbing ROMES and is actively providing their updates to Eden (kanjani8) so not all is lost.

Tomoya Nagase of TOKIO plays a convicted swindler, hired along with 13 other convicted criminals, by the Japanese government to be an elite spy against terrorists. This is Nagase's first leading role in 3 years in an NTV Saturdays @ 9pm drama since My Boss, My Hero.

The two translators in our team had considered picking up this drama to sub for a while since it was announced but didn't know where we were gonna be at around the Summer Season. But then we just caved in. The team had either this or Orthros no Inu to work from -- and we all decided that Karei naru Spy would be a better drama to work on instead. Also, after working on such an emotional dramatic series as The Quiz Show, we need a happy picker-upper.

Also, we noticed that the dramas we have picked up were NTV Saturdays @ 9pm (Yasuken, Quiz Show 2) dramas so for irony purposes we thought it was funny to tackle this too.

Now, like all of our drama announcements, they are not set in stone. They are merely tenative announcements. We will confirm our decision after the airing of episode 1. Also, we are aware of Querbeert working on this drama and wish them good luck on this drama as well as on Orthros no Inu and Otomen.

We're subbing Ryo Nishikido's drama for Nittere's 24 Hour TV titled Niini no Koto wo Wasurenai de - Noushuyou to Tatakatta Hachi Nenkan , translated as " Don't Forget Niini - Brain Cancer and an Eight Year Battle - ". The drama is about a 15 year old boy that has the world going for him as he aimed to become a physcist, but, is diagnosed with brain cancer. He struggles with reality, falling into depression, but with the help of his family manages to fight his cancer for 8 years before dying at 23.

It's really early in the game, this drama doesn't air for another three months, but love for K8 couldn't keep us from subbing this drama... even if its techniqually a NEWS event. :P We'll keep you constantly updated on our status for this drama special as the days draw near to 24 Hour TV. So consider everything tenative until a month before the air date.

This is project will also be aided from help by the totally wonderful, no words to explain how great they are, je_mix_fansubs.

Party Night cause its a friday night ~

Stream sites have always been a problem for us fansubbers, and there's still rude assholes (cause that's what they are) who continue to stream our fansubs or watch our fansubs on stream sites. I recently stumbled on our work at Dramacrazy.net, a lame ass website ignoring the requests of fansubbers.

We need your help in getting them the hint that we don't accept this OR allow this!

Please comment, let them know that they're disrespecting our wishes and to get them to take down our fansubs! If they want to stream fansubs so much then stream their OWN fansubbed stuff. We don't appreciate that!
