If you havn't heard Blanche, then you are missing out on something really great. They are like a sassy electric folk explosion. I can't really believe how awesome they are.

They have a silly name, but this montreal based group is actually really really good. They were on cbc about three weeks ago, and I think they really prove that even the bands you don't hear about from montreal are really really good. |

The Cribs - Mirror Kissers
The Cribs are three brothers from England who play loud yet and yet adorable songs for people to enjoy! They are on tour with Death Cab For Cutie and Franz Ferdinand and I saw them last night. They embody the three possible amounts of energy one could have: the drummer does not stop moving ever. The guitarist does little dances. The bassist sort of stands there.
But that is all neither here nor there!
This song is rollicking. And I can't understand a word they say. |

So, about Final Fantasy, my favourite band that is really just one violinist and gadgets.
Let's discuss this photograph, first. It is not behind a cut because I would not want to obscure its beauty and artistic merit.
I guess we can ascertain that Owen Pallett is, in fact, Robin Hood. This has lots to do with the fact that his new album, entitled "He Poos Clouds" is about the different schools of magic in D&D. Namely, that he is amazing.
