Got my DVDs.
We watched the first two discs last night. My husband moved his head to the beat every time the theme song came on, which (if possible) made me love him even more. It's the only reason I didn't speed through the song--I like the song, but it gets stuck in my head for days/weeks at a time.
I know I'm behind & you guys probably discussed this stuff to death before I joined the community, but:
I was very displeased that Aaron broke the cow. I like the cow.
I know people have moved on to other projects, but is there any chance whatsoever that Fox will see the potential for the series through the DVD sales and decide to beg everyone to come back and make more episodes? Has that ship sailed?
My favorite moment thus far is still when Jaye answers Eric's phone.

God I love that theme song...I keep meaning to try and find it on the internet somewhere...my friend thought I was crazy because I kept rocking back and forth to the song...

Yes, well the cow breaking is an interesting test. Can you KILL the objects? That'd be a way to shut them up I guess...

And Jayne answering the phone in that manner pretty much sealed the deal for me as to her being the perfect woman...*sigh*

Yeah, I think Fox works off inverse reason or something...they also canceled Futurama and The Family Guy, and those shows are now two of the highest rated shows on Cartoon Network.

The cow still got a message to Aaron, though, despite being headless.
I don't think killing the muses would make the voices stop--there would always be more to take over.
They're showing those on Cartoon Network? Adult Swim? (I haven't gotten cable in a few years.)
ARGH, I screwed this reply up three times before fixing it! That's what I get for typing one-handed.

Yes...and the cow talked to someone other than Jayne...that makes them seem more real as well...

And yes, those shows are on Cartoon Network: Adult Swim...I spend an extra 5 dollars a month just to watch it. =)

I think they should have had a Pez dispenser muse.
I was a Toon Network junkie back when Sailor Moon was on.

I, too felt bad when Aaron broke the cow creamer.

If you like the theme song, then you might want to check out the band XTC. Andy Partridge is in it, and it's one of my favorite bands of all time. I highly recommend XTC and anything Andy does.

The other day I found myself again wishing that Fox would pick Wonderfalls back up, when I saw a commercial for Tru Calling. Did they really bring that back?

I also felt bad when Jaye melted one of the wax lions!
I never watched Tru Calling. Or Joan of Arcadia.
