Nathan Petrelli. District attorney. U.S. Congressman. Husband. Father. Son. Brother. Hero.
Nathan Petrelli is the oldest son of a Manhattan social dynasty. The golden boy; the one we need. He was once a shark, a cutthroat DA-turned-politician willing to sacrifice anything - including his family - to secure his dreams. Dreams change, though, and Nathan has learned that doing what's right isn't always easy, nothing is more important than family, and there's a heroic power within him that enables him to do far more than rescue kittens from trees.
We love Nathan for his sarcasm and his rough-around-the-edges exterior. We love him for his moments of kindness and his moments of weakness. We love him for how much he's grown as a character, in integrity and honesty and bravery. Most of all, we love him because he loves his brother - a love that has time and again taught them both that the world is worth saving.
Nathan's worth saving, too. Peter, the fans, and who knows how many heroes will be lost without him.
And besides, who else is going to cart around Parkman like a cargo jet? Not to mention how much Hiro loves his Flying Man.
Please, help us bring Nathan Petrelli back in Volume 3! If you need more reasons, read the posts in the community; if you're a fan, come on in and join the campaign!

You can post icons and graphics, meta/essays, quotes, news/updates on the show (spoiler warnings), ideas for helping to save our beloved Petrelli - anything that has to do with saving Nathan, really. Even fan fic or art that, seriously or comically, might show what the show would be like without Nathan! I'll post at least once a week with something for us to discuss or work on as a community, and please, again, if you have any ideas for how to a) save Nathan and/or b) make this community fun and meaningful, post away! For more info on the comm and its postings rules and such, read here.So spread the word, tell your friends, write letters, plug this comm and our cause whenever and wherever possible. Paint yourself and the town red with "Save Nathan, Save the World" CafePress gear. Tell everyone and their mother why and how much you love Nathan Petrelli. Really, our hope is simply that through our online discussions and activities we'll cause a stir, catch some interest - at the very least stand as an online testament and presence to how important the character of Nathan is to fans of Heroes - and maybe together we can think up some crazy ways to really further the campaign ;) You don't have to have a superpower to be a hero - but you can use what powers you do have to help us save this one <3
