Save my Scenario - A Community for Writers

This is a community mainly for writers who have a scenario in mind that they're having trouble with. This is not the place to find specific factual details* or to showcase your work**, but this is a great place to get feedback on your raw ideas. Questions here tend to promote subjective discussion rather than factual answers.

You might find this community useful if you have a key plot point in mind but you can't figure out how to get your characters to that key point. Say, for example, you're writing a story about a princess who kisses a toad and you just can't decide how best to motivate the princess to kiss the toad. This would be a great place to ask.

Here's an example from one of my own stories. I have a character who goes into a pub and gets so drunk that it feels like the room is moving. Only, when he sobers up he finds out that the pub is actually a ship that has now sailed out to sea. Eventually he and a gang of pirates need to end up on a schooner, but I can't decide whether the pub should be the galley of the schooner, or whether the pub should just be a houseboat-type structure on some kind of barge (in which case the schooner would be captured later). I'm leaning towards the latter, but I might come here to seek advice on which idea would be more believable and entertaining.

As you can see, this is a great place to exercise your muse and troubleshoot your scenarios. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful!
