europe’s worst interiors of 1974
I think some of you might actually find some of these rooms saucy!

None of them are saucy to me on the whole... a couple have elements in the room that would look saucylicious... if not surrounded by the crap.

Mostly it just serves to remind me that its just as well I was too young then to notice or care

haha, thank you for the link!! I really enjoyed checking out all those rooms :D They were either awesome, or awesomely bad, so it was an enjoyable view altogether!

Funniest shot in there is the orange and white bathroom (including orange bidet!), that chick is sitting on the edge of her tub just cuddling that shower massage like it's her best friend. Maybe it was!
Complete with hands down her pants.

I loved ALL OF THAT.

The green wood kitchen/barn is my favorite.

I liked this one. I guess it's because there's so much potential for organization there with all that shelf space. I'm obsessed with organization and that would be a nice project for me :D.

I love almost all of them but it is the exact reason why I won't paint anything green. It will look great for now, but in a year when it goes out of style, I'll be stuck with neon green walls and no energy/time to paint them. As a matter of fact, I saw this website like 3 years ago and I remember saying "Yuck."

There is a HORSE in the KITCHEN... Whoa.

The orange and white bathroom is strangely compelling. Is that a bidet?!

Haha, oh man, I have always dreamed of a barn and house in one. I don't think I would have the barn come off the kitchen, but the idea is still pretty fun.

I'm hoping that the mary janes and ridiculous socks are supposed to indicate youth, and the viewer is meant to assume that she's the teenage babysitter rather than the mother.

LOL at all the comments so far, especially WRT the horse in the kitchen.
I thought certain aspects of some of the interiors were pretty killer - the curtains in the first living room picture are pretty rad. And I'm all for a nice matching bidet in the master bathroom. And the striped bench cushion with matching bolsters looked pretty nice, too... almost like something I saw at Ikea recently. :]

Apart from the German storage unit.NOT SO MUCH.Whats with that kid looking up her skirt in the bathroom? Is that supposed to entail a 'cheekiness' factor? Ugh,I think we still have Euro Import places here in Chicago that sell this crap.

This is priceless!

Some of these rooms aren't so much awful as very, very dated. Others were just horrifying... and I don't even want to know what the chick in the orange and white bathroom is doing.

Horse in the kitchen? Is that so you can make a quick trip to the General Store when you run out of grits?
