I ordered this Rochelle couch, based on a 60's design from C&B two weeks ago and it just arrived...I was hesitant to get some "new" but was tired of looking for something vintage...As long as it looks the part!




Here is the living room before with my old couch, a $50 yard sale find that looked good from afar...

So, I think I have proven, if the style is right, you can mix old with new! I had to make some adjustments for this slightly bigger couch, so I turned my side tables and moved the stools from underneath to the front which also helps with the deeper cut of the couch.

no, both chairs are vintage, the green, the one I think you mean actually matches a love seat I have in my entry way...

This is one of the best living rooms I've seen here. Kudos!

Also, I'd push my mother off a bridge for that green love seat. I can only hope she'd understand. I did it for the love of beauty!

This is the first "dwelling" I've seen on here that I found inspirational enough to comment on! It is truly lovely, especially in terms of colors. And the bowl of billiard balls is a nice touch.

I've never liked '60's style but this looks great! I wonder why all the movies and pictures from the 60's don't look as good as this does?

The couch is probably early sixtys style most of my stuff is actually 50's-30's...it is just really
an eclectic mix....I just buy what I like and somehow it all comes together....
