This community is a place where all Satanists, of any path, age, gender, or orientation can come together to share knowledge, and grow together in strength. Those who are just starting out on the Left-Hand Path, as well as non-Satanists wishing to learn about Satanism in a respectful manner, are of course also more than welcome. I have provided some links with information about Satanism in the links section. They are on Modern Satanism, simply because that is my path, and what I have the most resources about, but if anyone would like to share more links, especially about other paths, such as Theistic Satanism or Luciferianism, please do so. Also, any contributions for a community icon and/or background would be welcomed. :)

To ensure that this community stays focused and in the true spirit of Satanism, I feel it necessary to lay down some ground rules.

1. No "devil-worshippers", i.e., those who believe that Satan is actually evil, and who commit acts of violence for this cause. There are other communities that will cater to that type of individual, but this is not one of them.

2. Absolutely NO flaming, trolling, or bashing. Obvious trolls will not even be accepted into the community anyways, so don't even bother applying. If you DO somehow manage to fool me, you will quickly be banned when your true nature becomes evident. Flaming and bashing includes:

*Posting for the reason of pointlessly mocking some other group, for example, Christians. A true Satanist finds strength not from belittling others, but from within him or herself.

*Name-calling. Please use common sense, respect and maturity here. If you notice someone violating the rules, bring it to my attention, and I will deal with the issue. This also applies to disagreements among members. In a group of highly individualistic people, of course there is going to be some difference of opinion, and that is a good thing, because it helps us grow and shape our own viewpoints. However, disagreements can and should be carried out in a calm, respectful manner. If you cannot do so, please take the issue outside of the community.

3. Please, try to be active. I realize that many of us have busy lives, but I don't think it's unreasonable to ask that you make either one post or one comment, at least once every two weeks. We will not become stronger if we are unproductive.

4. Please try to stay on topic as much as possible. Some digression is acceptable, but common sense should be used.

5. Please make all posts friends-only. This is to ensure that trolls and others who would make trouble for us are kept out of the community.

6. Please include the words "Ave Satanas" in your application, so I know that you read the rules.

Beyond these, please use common sense when posting or applying. I reserve the right to deny membership, ban members, or delete posts at my discretion. If you use common sense, there is likely no need to worry about this happening to you. I will always provide the involved parties with a full explanation of my reasoning when I am forced to make such a decision.
