A foodie idea...
I had an idea... I'm sure we all know that in-n-out will sometimes do 100 x 100 burgers. Anyone up for gathering together a group, pooling our cash, and trying to go for a bigger one? I think it might be a fun San Diego LJ thing. I mean, we'd have to find willing eaters & a location willing to MAKE a REALLY big one for us... But who knows? Mabye we could get together to even do a 200x200 if we're really feeling masochistic. Or is this too insane an idea?

Last I heard, they had put a limit and the biggest one they would do was 20x20....because people would order ones like 200x200 hahah...

I'm not sure if this is 100% true...I heard if it from a friend

Last I heard, the limit was less than that. They no longer do 10 by 10s because of the freshness and quality involved and how long it takes to cook the meat.

Y'know what would be funny? If this was done for the upcoming zombie walk / thrill the world world record attempt event thingie (october 27th, people!)... it could be divvied up amongst several zombies for a meaty picnic of sorts ;)

I'm working on the website over the next few days. There's soooooooooooo much stuff going into planning this that we're just being barraged with more work! haha

Basic info is that it'll be at Balboa Park on Saturday, October 27th @ 3PM - meeting on the lawn at Quince & 6th. We have a permit to gather there, so all is well in that department.

It's being held in conjunction with the Thrill the World world-record breaking attempt for Largest Simultaneous Dance (worldwide), to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" - so we're hoping that zombies will show up early, learn the dance, and help us with the attempt. This is taking place worldwide at exactly 3PM Pacific, with many cities having groups that are participating. After the dancing, the zombie walk will take place.

So we're asking that everyone show up prior to 3PM, so that zombies can be debriefed after the dancing for the walk, so that we can immediately head out onto the route.

We're also holding dance workshops prior to October 27th, so that people can learn the dance beforehand. We had our first one last night and it was WAY fun! Our next one is tomorrow night, if you - or anyone you know - might be interested :)

More details on the walk and event as a whole will be announced properly on LJ when we get more details set in stone!

DAMN! I have a school meeting tomorrow. You should email me a few days before you have them, my scheduling is always pretty tight.

I am SO EXCITED about Thriller dancing! How many folks are you expecting? I'll rally my troops too.

There's really no way to tell yet, because we're just now starting to advertise and get this thing together. We're hoping for at least a few hundred - which is totally feasible. Drop me an line at readysteadystop [at] gmail.com and I'll give your email address to Breezie, who is in charge of the dance workshops and she'll letcha know all there wherefores and whatnot :)
