Title: Demons
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Characters belong to Ryan Murphy, I’m just borrowing them so they can do my bidding for a while.
A/N: Dedicated to [info]carpesomediemand [info]quatorz.
A/N 2: As usual, a huge thanks goes out to [info]quatorz for all the help. Couldn't do it without you, guy. :) You're awesome!
A/N 3: Bored yet? Kay, it's taken me a little while, but this is the final installment of this little saga. I think. Dave is already talking about an epilogue, so we'll see where that goes ;) Thanks for coming along for the ride, it's been cool to work some of my own muddle brain out through these guys, and even cooler to read everyone's comments - they feed me and my dark desires. ^^ I was going to wait and post this during IDF... but then i changed my mind. So hopefully i'll still have something to post for IDF now ;)
Summary: We all have them.

If anyone wants a refresh, part one can be found here; http://community.livejournal.com/sambrookeisotp/147839.html#cutid1 and two over here; http://community.livejournal.com/sambrookeisotp/169462.html

Title: Revelations
Disclaimer: Ryan Murphy's sandbox. I just play in it.
Rating: PG
Word Count: 4,755.
A/N: Wow! Well this sure took a while. I conceived of this sequel a day or two after writing Self-Fulfilling Prophecy. I'd written the outline for this on December 2nd of '08 but it took me until now to get back to this moment in the storyline. I've been dying to write this one for months.
Continuity: This follows directly after the last two fics: 'Prelude to a Fic' and 'Self Fulfilling Prophecy: The Special Edition'. It actually picks up moments after that one. Oh, and there are references to 'Under Pressure'-the one where Sam cracks up and goes to therapy.
A/N II: A huge thank you to Redlance for giving this the 'suck-check' for me. I couldn't have posted without you. You're awesome!
Summary: They finally tell the parentals. Brooke's been dreading this.

Thank-you to all of you that participated in the last challenge! So, let's get started with this week's, shall we?

Rules
1. Drabbles are generally 100 words, but we're not strict. We understand that sometimes a muse just has more to say. We'll cap it at 250; anything more will be tagged as a fic.
2. The ship should obviously be Brooke and Sam, because that's what this community is all about.
3. Remember you're not restricted to the conventional definition of the challenge word.
4. Please put all fics behind an lj-cut.

This week's prompt is: hospital.

Feel free to post your drabbles on the community at anytime between now and next Thursday, July 16, 2009.

I encourage everyone to try it, even if you don't normally write fic. Drabbles are fun because they're short and easy (most of the time.) You might just surprise yourself. Happy drabbling!

For the past couple months I've been hosting a live call-in Internet radio show devoted to fandom femslash and femslash author interviews. The moderators of this community have been gracious enough to give me permission to promote this week's interview here, as it will include (but not be limited to) discussion of Popular and the Sam/Brooke pairing.

Up until now I've focused on individual fandoms, but there are some authors who haven't limited themselves to one or two communities. So while some shows will feature interviews with authors as representatives for a certain pairing, others will feature authors who will discuss their overall work as a whole. And we'll begin with [info]harper_m.

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/allaine/2009/07/10/Harper

Multi-fandom Author Interviews - Harper

Harper has never been one to limit herself to one or two fandoms. Since starting out as a fanfiction author she's written at least one story for dozens of pairings. And she's done an excellent job with all of them. You'll find yourself reading her stories when you have no prior knowledge of the show! (Skins, what the hell kind of name for a show is Skins!) We won't worry about ALL of her previous work on this show, but we will be discussing stories from Popular (Sam/Brooke), Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles (Sarah/Cameron), Birds of Prey (Barbara/Helena), Friday Night Lights (Tyra/Lyla), and more!

I hope people will attend.

Sincerely, Allaine

Title: Self Fulfilling Prophcy - Special Edition
Disclaimer: Ryan Murphy's sandboxs. I just play in it.
Rating: PG
Word Count: 2,211.
Continuity: This is right after 'Prelude to a Fic'. They are in their freshman year of college at USC.
A/N:Wow. This really is coming full circle for me. Ironically it was seven months ago today that I posted this fic originally. I had written a small fic called 'The Fairtytale' that established that Sam and Brooke got married in their junior year at college. Well, later I thought: 'who gets married in their junior year of college? That's stupid'. So this was an attempt to answer that question. While I was writing the last line, in my mind's eye there was a knock at the door. It was Mike and Jane come to visit. I knew that this would be the moment when they told the McParents about their relationship. But...in order to do that right, I needed to know how they got together. So I went back and with 'How Lily FOund Out (Part I)' began to tell the story of their relationship (in my universe, at least). So its taken seven months to get back to the same point. To come full circle. Its been neat, because the overall arc was always in my head. When writing 'P is for Pillow' I had to be careful to walk a fine line. I wanted Jane to have suspicions, but she couldn't find out about them-because she found out about them here. The universe was like a paint by numbers set. It was there-I just had to fill it in.
I have one more fic to go after this one-one that I've been waiting to write for seven months-and then I'm taking a break from this storyline. I am going to write an original Bram novel set a few years down the road. It will take place on an island off the coast of northern California. They've rented a house on the water so Sam can work on her first novel. I'm pretty excited about it-and I certainly hope everyone likes it. I do plan to return to this universe. I have more stories to tell: Brooke has the great (horrible) idea to play cupid for Harrison, and also Brooke is going to tell her mother about her and Sam. She's looking forward to that one.
Oh: since I tell time like Georgr Lucas, I thought I could revise history like him. This fic has been revised a bit to be in line with this universe. Also, the original fic jumped between their points of view, so I changed that as well.

Title: Prelude to a Fic
Disclaimer: Ryan Murphy's sandboxs. I just play in it.
Rating: PG
Word Count: 1,203.
Continuity: This is actually a prequel to a fic I wrote months ago (which I am going to repost shortly) called 'Self Fulfilling Prophecy': that's the one where Sam proposes. Technically, this would be next after 'How the Rest of the Gang Found Out'. They are in their freshman year of college at USC.
A/N: A huge thank you to Redlance. You're awesome-but then that is common knowledge.
Summary: Brooke has a crisis.

Disclaimer: Ryan Murphy's sandbox. I just play in it.

Word Count: 7,619 (between both parts). Another long one.
Continuity: This is next after 'P is for Pillow Talk'.
A/N: A huge thank you to my beta readers: Redlance and Carpesomediem. You guys are awesome!
Summary: Sam goes to therapy.
A/N II: This is probably not an accurate representation of how therapy actually works. This is more like 'Hollywood' therapy, where things have to get accomplished and revelations have to be made in the half-hour or hour or however long until the show ends. So keep that in mind if it seems unrealistic.

A/N II: For those of you who like 'behind the scenes' kind of stuff: this fic was started over a month ago. I wrote an entire fic ('Kiss Me I'm Irish') and three drabbles in the time since I started this. The genesis of this was a comment Sam made in the drabble 'Red Herrings' and a crack she makes to Mary Cherry in 'P is for Pillow'. The premise in my head was simple, yet daunting: sit Sam down in a chair and see what's going on inside of her. A month later, here I am. My hope is that it doesn't suck. LOL, you all will be the judge of that. I didn't have a title, but always being a fan of 'Queen', I decided to borrow one from them.
Summary: Sam goes to therapy.

I'm looking for a fic I read a while ago.
I'm not sure if it was here or on Realm of the Shadow.
In it Sam was dating George and he was beating her. Brooke found out and made her go see a doctor. I assume they ended up together in the end.
That's all I remember.
Does anybody know where I can find it?

According to [info]ralst and her handy dandy statistics on Passion & Perfection, the Popular section only needs 23 more submissions to cross the 150 fic threshold on the site. What better way to show it's they ear of Bram by making sure we use IDF to jump over that mark?

You can read more about the International Day of Femslash at its website: www.femslashday.com or visit its LJ community: [info]femslash_day.

So, are you in, yet? Let's do it for Bram!

Hello, folks!

I'm hosting an Iconathon for the International Day of Femslash, and so far, noone has claimed Brooke/Sam. It'd be great to see the girls represented on the big day.

The rules are easy:

-Join the community.
-Claim a femslash ship/subject.
-Make 25 (or more, more is good) icons for your claim.
-Post them on IDF!

Hope to see you over there.
