Do you, do you want to, have you, or have you ever wanted to write for a newspaper? Do you have an opinion on anything? Do you believe in freedom of speech? Do you just like writing in general? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then here's a community for you!

Here's a place where you can post any stories you may have written for your school/local/etc newspaper, or just for fun. However, there are a few simple rules...

1.)All pieces over 300 words must go behind an LJ Cut tag.
2.)If you have a photo with your piece, please size it to be less then 300x300 pxls, or put it behind a cut.
3.)Don't post stupid stuff that has nothing to do with journalism (i.e. quiz results)
4.)Don't post "rants". There is a difference between an opinion piece and a rant. We do NOT care that your car didn't start this morning, or you boyfriend just dumped you.

That's pretty much it. We're not going to restrict content of pieces because that's just not the journalistic way. So, feel free to post on whatever topic you want.
