| Alright, I give. The maker of the style is no longer taking questions [I have great timing like that 8D;;] so could someone possibly tell me what on earth I've done wrong to have the little navigation thinger off to the side slightly? I changed NOTHING except the links, and I followed all the instructions [and quadruple checked] so I really, honest to goodness haven't the slightest idea what it is I'm doing wrong. And I've checked everything I know how to, read quite a few tutorials that shed no light whatsoever and...yeah. So here I am. I'm sure it's something simple. though, so I hope someone could possibly point it out to me. forever3330, and my css is: http://community.livejournal.com/interlinea/2111.html?page=6#comments These are the instructions I followed. - Mood:confused

| I have recently places custom CSS on warped_canvas that uses scrolling in the pageblock and sidebar. The only problem is that in IE, the background image in the pageblock scrolls with the text and I want it to stay fixed in the body block so that the text scrolls over it. Any suggestions? | |

| Is there any way in Smooth Sailing to stop comments from indenting? Mine skew out my layout, so I'd rather they didn't indent at all. Can anyone help please?

| I'm working on a layout at wlbluestars. I had everything working how I wanted but then I went and tried to clean up the code a little bit. Now I'm having a problem where if there is a link directly below another one you won't be able to click on the one on top. The click area is to big and covers the other link. It's not really noticeable except on the links list on the sidebar. Does anyone know how to shrink the click area back down? ETA: FIXED! Thank you babyelefant | |

| The community rules didn't say anything about asking about lj ads, so here goes. Hopefully I'm not doing anything wrong. XD
I've just recently changed to a plus account, and I'm using this smooth sailing layout from fanmedley with ad placement set to in between entries. I don't mind the ads, but I do mind the white background that they come with.
Is there any way to remove or change the background color so that the ads don't contrast as much with the rest of the page?
EDIT: Nvm, fixed it using the color editing page on Customize Journal. Silly me. | |

| A few minor issues: 1. On my comments/reply page, when I have the 'reply' box open, the text for 'anonymous', and 'login' are almost the same colour as my background. The answer is probably completely obvious, but the css I'm using doesn't seem to have this part customised? Or maybe its late and I just can't see it. FIXED.Here is a picture of the issue. FIXED.2. For the most part all the comments in my entries stay within the width I have set for the journal. But sometimes I get comments that make it go like this and it won't stay in line. Is it individual to the entry and how it is replied to, or is it something to do with my code? As I said, other entries such as here don't seem to be affected. I understand that people posting pictures in the comments can skew out the page, but this doesn't seem to be the issue above. 3. If people do post pictures in the comments, it is possible to keep the width of the journal the same, and let the picture just spread beyond it? Otherwise it stretches the rest of the comments and people have to scroll across like in this entry and it gets annoying. Basically I just want the width of the journal to be fixed no matter what is happening in the comments. Or even a way to stop comments decreasing in width and having them always a fixed size. That would be perfect. Here is my css: Thank you! | |

| I am using gossymer's Black Smooth Sailing layout and I'm having a bit of a problem with the header. There is an unwanted space on the right hand side that I can not get rid of at all. I had to change the width of the layout to even get the entire header to show up but now can't seem to get rid of that space. Any help would be greatly appreciated! If needed I can provide the entire CSS code. | |

| Hello! I just joined. I've been using Smooth Sailing to design my LJ layout. And everything was going very smoothly and fantastic until I realized that I have no idea how to customize my friends page. All I want is for it to show the Friends Colors. But I cannot find anywhere how to do that! And I've read whatever tutorials I have come across, and now it's gotten to the point in which I just can't see! Maybe it's something tremendously easy, but I've been going around it, and just missing it! Could someone please help me?! The friends colors are ridiculously important to me!! Please help! EDIT: Solved! Although, a different thing popped up... In my journal and friends page entries, I have written in the code for the visited links to appear in a green shade. But no matter how many times I change it, it still appears in this creamy color that blends with the background and I cannot read it!! The code doesn't seem to respond to what I write in it, although if I write the background color, that does appear. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? | Hello Everyone I'm currently using gossymer's In The Blue's layout and I would really love my for my mood theme to be on the left of my meta data, and some tiny icons instead of speak etc. However, I'm not that great at CSS, I've followed the Tutorials but its all a bit to complicated for me. If anyone could help me you'd be helping out a very happy girl. | |

| Is there a way to make it so certain things in your metadata invisible/not show up? I don't want the location or groups to show up. ( Here is what I got in my layer. ) | |
