I have two questions that I just can't find the answer to, even though I've looked all over the community. (Sorry if I missed something though.)

1) I have a paid community {the_host_novel} and I would like to be able to make just the subject of the comment much larger (much like it is on the default comments page). For example, in this post, I'd like to make the text "Pics for Next Week" 20px or something. I'd also like to remove the IP address if possible. SOLVED

2) I'd like to add a "back to top" link/button at the very bottom of the page. SOLVED

My theme layer is here, but I did most of the editing in CSS which I'll put in a textbox under the cut in case you need it..

Ok, I've used the codes to replace my comment links with images, but the "Edit" link is still text. Can someone please have a look at my code and tell me how to fix it? I've double checked to make sure that all of the "IMAGE URL HERE" stuff was replaced, and I'm sure that this is just a simple little thing to fix, but it's still annoying...

Okay folks! Here's the dealio. I have a paid account of which I have been working with the Stylesheet from here. I've had tons of problems as I've been working on my layout but for the most part I've figured out everything on my own. However, I'm stuck on this blast comment box not cooperating with me.
( See here for details ) Now I've tried just tweaking it a bit on my own, messing around with numbers and such, and I've looked through the posts but I just can't seem to find why it is mine won't budge.

All I need to figure out is how to move the:

Logged in user:
To be aligned to the left to meet with the radio buttons. I also want to figure out how to adjust the width of the "choose your icon" bar, as it is ridiculously long. I'd also like to figure out how to make the "Post Comment" button and the "Preview" button less wide.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated. For some reason...and it might just be because all I've had for dinner is a poptart....I can't seem to find the answers to the above even when hunting through tags. And the FAQ just doesn't show up.

2. I used img {border: 0px; } to get rid of the border around my .leftlinks images. But of course it removed borders on all linked pictures in the metadata. Is there a way around this?

I'm compiling this layer for a friend, and, when I added this code (by kentucka) to replace the comment reply links with images, the Quick Reply function disappeared. I'd like to restore that function and I've looked through the community for a solution, but I haven't found it. Could someone help, please?

I need help with a few issues (I have a paid account):

1. Is it possible to modify the buttons at the bottom of the comments that link to the delete and tag functions, etc.? I think they're kind of ugly and would like to replace them with at least text. SOLVED

2. Can you modify the "Post a new comment" text, such as making it all uppercase? I know that the "text-transform: uppercase" would do it if only I could find the correct place to put it. I've searched but haven't been able to find any posts addressing this issue either. SOLVED

3. For some reason there is a large gap between my tags and my current music/mood, which you can see here. I can't find any padding commands that could be causing this, but my theme layer is here if you need a look. SOLVED

Hi again. I stumbled across another problem...

There is this huge gap between my posts and my comments because of the length of my sidebar (it's pretty big). I went over old posts on this comm and found posts that dealt with this problem, but my layout is different and I don't know where to look.

It should be fixed by changing clear: left to clear:right in the .box section, but that particular line is absent in the layout that I'm using.

Can anyone help? I could add the entire section from my layout that deals with the comments if that's any help.

I have a sudden problem with my layout (My layer). Or, rather problems

1.) For some reason those additional links on the entry comment bar are suddenly all on the right side, but I used to have them separated. I.e. Link/Mem/Edit on the left, comments on the right.
I don't know what happened, I haven't touched my code - at least not that part.

2.) I've customized the LJ user icons, but they don't show anymore. Instead I get those ugly LJ default icons. Again, I haven't touched the code for those.

3.) On my comment page the Flexible Squares default layout is shining through - dunno how else to describe - also I've overwritten it. Again, I haven't touched that code, either.

I can't see the mistake(s). I did some adjustments on my layer, but I haven't really touched those parts that now don't show properly.

Any help?

ETA: Solved! I've simply re-written the whole CSS code. *lol* Apparently, there had been a glitch in the old one.

Hello people! My comments look like this - example of my journal - but I want to change something like this:

On my individual entries pages (example) the comments on that entry aren't appearing until after the end of the sidebar, so there's a huge blank space between the entry and the comments on short entries.  Is there a way to fix this?

I don't  think it's my code, because all I really changed was fonts and colors.
