Hi there! I have just a couple of questions.

1. Is there any way to make the background color around the advertisements transparent?

2. I'm having a problem with my subject line. See, in the first, most recent entry at the top, and only the most recent one not the rest of them, there's not as much padding as I'd like. I'm not sure how to fix that and there may not be a way to, but I thought I'd give it shot. :\

Sorry for bothering, but I have a small question/problem.

Can you change the size of userpics in comments? On my recent entries page and friends page the userpics are 70px x 70px, but I cant seem to change their size in comments. .userpiccomment img doesn't seem to work, or then I just dont know what I'm doing. :) Help?

disappearing subjects, smooshed entries, topbar links not working - Opera issues

I'm using a slightly modified stylesheet from

velvetb0x, here, with this theme layer. I've got everything pretty much figured out, except that when I opened the page up in Opera, the non-flocked post subjects aren't showing up, and the text of the entries is all smooshed up into the space of one or two lines.

I want to use symbols [>>] instead of words for the skip forward/back links in my footer, but when I try to use them, they're coming out in html [>>] instead. Is there anyway I'll be able to use the symbols, like using my theme layer somehow?

SOLVED!
Hello all,

I am pretty bad with understanding CSS.
Now, I use this pretty layout, but I wish I could change this tiny blue coated icon figure that is located before any username and the other one for communities to different icons.
How and where in the CSS do I change that?
I really hope someone can help me - it's probably just a tiny thing for professionals, but it gives me a big headache.

bullet in my footer!

Tiny quirk --major headache.

I'm downright exhausted from having looked this over, but I cannot figure out what is putting that bullet in my footer. It's got to be related to the display: list property and attribute, but it certainly wasn't showing up like that 3 hours ago, or even one hour ago when I was just about finished, and that footer has been a list since I started. Bloody thing just started popping up now.

Userpic borders

How can I make it so that my userpic borders turn a different color upon hovering? (If that wasn't a very good explanation -- see my journal layout, with a thick turquoise border around userpics? I want them to turn pink when the cursor hovers over them, like my links do.)

Random indents in friend page entries?

I just implemented this new layout last night, and I love it, except for one tiny thing. Some entries on my friend's list seem to randomly indent. There's no patterm with communities or certain friends, but I've noticed it usually happens after short entries.

friends page error?

I've been trying to fix this on my own and am just feeling positively USELESS about the entire thing, so I have to beg for help.

I decided to change my layout this morning, out of sheer layout-changing OCD. So, I picked one I liked, installed it, made it work, then loaded my friends page and noticed hey, something's not right. My journal page itself is perfect in every way, but my friends page is whack and I have no idea what to do with it. I'm expecting to get attacked by Occam's razor and find out it was something super simple, but whatever, I'm dying of confusion here and needed to ask.

I have a paid account and I've honestly never had any layout trouble before, so this is kinda peeving me off.

text wrap around entry icon.

so hi. :) i just have a quick question about wrapping text around entry icons.

i modified this code right here for the layout in this community. as you can notice in the preview for the original layout, there is no problem with the text wrapping underneath the entry icon. however, in order to modify a huge gap which appeared between the top of the layout to an entry when a large video was posted outside of a cut, i used an 'autoflow' code in the .entry part of the code (to create an overlap).

now, we also switched the userpic from the left, all the way to the right side. now, i cannot get the text to wrap under the icon. does this have something to do with the 'autoflow' code which i added in, or is it something with the padding/margins? here is the code i'm using:

Sidebar Expanding Video Entries

I'm using a free account and am making changes to my layout. I wanted to expand my sidebar so it went down most of the page. I did so and it worked fine in my own entries. Then I went to my friends page and a friend had posted a video in one entry. Instead of the sidebar continuing down the page, it expanded that entry, so that no matter how long I made the sidebar, it always ended before the video.

I tried to limit the size of the entry, but for some reason when I try to add code to fix the overflow it shrinks down the width of my entries.

Entry page userpic problem

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me, because I've been staring at this for two days now. I'm using custom CSS on the customise journal page and everything's fine except for one thing. My own userpic at the top of my entry page is surrounded by a grey background, and the link to my username "tencrush" is in white. See this entry for what I mean. I haven't defined this grey as a background colour or border colour anywhere in my css and I'm pretty sure my default link colour is purple. Could someone PLEASE look at this and help me work out why this is? I want the userpic at the top of an entry to be on a white background and the link to be purple, just like on the journal page, and the commenters' userpics on the entry page.

The problem I'm having is that I can't actually work out which CSS element this is. Where is it getting this grey from? I've gone blind from looking.

I just have a really quick question. My comment links have a border bottom all the time rather than just when they are hovered over. How do I turn this off? I tried getting rid of it but then it takes away the hover border. I'm super confused.
