Themesong is ARASHI !!!! CONFIRMED!!!

LOL. Congratulations to those who were hoping for Arashi as themesong!!!^v^  FINALLY, a news confirmation!!!

According to this article: http://hochi.yomiuri.co.jp/entertainment/news/20080921-OHT1T00175.htm

Ryusei no Kizuna's themesong will be sung by Arashi, titled "Beautiful Days". The single will release on Nov 5th, 2008.

In the article, Nishikido Ryo also mentioned, "It's the first time that I ever saw the words of 'sex' and 'condom' in a drama script,".

LOL! Haha.... seem like KudoKan stick to the novel on that part xD   I remember there was "sex" in one of Taisuke's lines. But I never saw "condom" though xD

I hope the themesong suits the story.... Arashi's 4th single this year.  And this means Arashi will be on Utaban again, YAY!

johnny sometimes can be really unfair...

I understand your feelings, though I think the Arashi release this time around is a business decision on the Jimusho's part. Arashi is probably getting the release because of the numbers of the Truth/ Kaze no Mukou e Double A-side. Arashi is bankable at this time, so the company is going where they can make the most money.

Yeah if both of them sing together for the theme song will be great.
Not that I dislike Arashi, I love their songs as well so fear not. I will still support them as usual. (: I just felt sad for Kanjani8 with only 1 single when Arashi will be having the 4th one. Weird huh?

I've been thinking a lot about this actually. Maybe because this is the last collaboration of JE and Kodansha Publishing, this might be Kodansha's way to make it up to JE since their tabloid basically attacked Ohno's reputation. Maybe it's not because K8 or NEWS couldn't do the theme song, but because Kodansha's magazine did an article on Ohno that could have harmed Arashi as a group, it had to be Arashi who get the opening theme song, instead of the other groups. Maybe, it might be one of the deals JE struck so that Nino and Ryo would remain in the cast.

I think I'm reading too much into this issue. I should just flail over the fact that Arashi has a new single coming out.

i understand ur feelings but i think it isn't unfair?
afterall arashi had their times of only releasing one single in a year too, and it took them nine years to make their way to releasing 4 singles in a year! fret not~ if kanjani continues to ganbatte like arashi does, they will make it one day. =)
and i guess another reason is that as ryo said, nino is the main lead for the drama. it had always been a must for arashi to sing the theme song for a drama when any of their members is the main lead, which is the case for majority if not all of arashi's dramas in the past. in fact i would have been surprised if they break this 'law' cos it would seem really unfair to nino in comparison to jun and ohno.
johnny's tend to see arashi members as being strongly affiliated to the grp and links watever individual performances to the grp, while johnnys tend to market yamapi and ryo as individuals rather than members of news. lastly, to be practical, arashi is where the money is XP
so yea, it's understandable that u are sad for ryo and feel that it is unfair for him, but i think this decision is understandable as well considering all the above factors >.
