AboutABOUT THE COMMUNITY: This is ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} rydenfree, a community for your non-Ryden (that would be Ryan/Brendon or Brendon/Ryan) Panic!at the Disco slashy needs. In other words, we're pretty much sick and tired of the abundance of cliche and BEATEN TO DEATH Ryden fanfiction/fanart/etc in the P!atD slash world. Not all of us hate Ryden, some of us are just tired of it or looking for something a little different. This community exists for the purpose of providing a safe haven from all all of that. Keep reading for more info.What's welcome here?: Anything non-Ryden related you can think of! Fanfiction for the most part, but non-Ryden related slashy icons, intelligent discussion about characterizations or pairings, fanart and the like are also welcome. RP community promos are NOT, as they have little to do with this community. There are lots of other communities out there who allow promotion though, feel free to email your friendly mod and I'll be glad to point you in the direction of a few. Any pairings are welcome as long as they're not Brendon Urie/Ryan Ross, but still within the Panic fandom - things like Ryan/Pete or Brendon/Jon or even wild ones like Spencer/Johnny Christ are welcome here. Be creative! We love creative. EVEN HET. RULES: oo1: Don't be an asshat. Obviously, I can't write a rule covering all forms of asshattery, so this is a general umbrella rule. Should you be found guilty, I'll have no problem banning you. oo2: As mentioned above, only relevant posts are acceptable. Right now, posting is unmoderated, but I will be checking the community plenty to make sure things are kept on track. No RP promotions, and ONLY non-Ryden related fics/fanart/icons/discussion/whatever are allowed here. And yes people, this includes het, as long as it's not some bullshit you/Brendon fic or whatever. No one wants to read that. But say, Brendon/Madonna? GO FOR IT. oo3: DO NOT COME IN HERE BITCHING ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU LOVE RYDEN AND HOW WE ALL SUCK FOR NOT FEELING THE SAME WAY. I am dead serious about this one. Not everyone adores your favorite pairing, or even believes that it is realistic - seriously people, grow up. If you don't like the idea of this community, don't fucking join or post. oo4: Don't post poorly-written fics. If I start seeing too much shit being thrown around here, I'll start moderating posts and asking for volunteer betas. I want this to be a quality place, the same goes for badly-done icons and fanart.
