Spacey: 'I'll Never Work With Brand'

Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey has provided an unexpected blow to Russell Brand's film career - insisting he would never dream of working with the comedian.

Brand has carved himself a Hollywood movie career after years on the comedy circuit in his native Britain, making a name for himself with niche roles in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and St Trinians.

But American Beauty star Spacey is clearly not a fan of Brand's big screen endeavours, and would "never " allow the star to perform in one of his productions at London's Old Vic theatre.

He says, "I would never ask Russell Brand because he's just a f**king personality. That's not acting. He's not an actor."

Why hello there, with this being my first post to this community I humbly ask for a clip that I, being a poor ol' isolated Australian, appeared to have missed.

I'm just sitting here listening to Russell's radio show (at 6:32am on a Sunday - live radio with the time difference is a right bastard) and he and Noel were just discussing a clip of Russell helping an old woman (who wasn't actually an old woman?) pick up her shopping and then discussing how kind and lovely he is, or something like that?

And I was wondering if anyone had that clip?
I can't seem to find it on Youtube or anything so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Altho they seem suited as they are both famous for being sexy, I'm not sure that Russell could sustain a relationship and I feel that Dita may have tired of outrageous egocentrics. Just my view, what do you guys think??

Just found the full official trailer for Russell Brand's new film with Adam Sandler "Bedtime Stories". Only a few glances of Russell, it's mostly Sandler being annoying. When it comes out, I don't know if I'm going to be able to endure the abundance of Sandler in favour of the glimpses of Russell...

I don't know if anyone's interested but I found this rather odd group on Youtube called "The Russell Band". It's one of the strangest things I've seen for a while--they seem to be rather obsessed fans.

The Jonas Brothers aren't bothered by Russell's jokes at the VMAs.  In fact, they think he's pretty funny:

After 2008 MTV VMAs host Russell Brand took a shot at the Jonas Brothers for their purity rings, the teen sensation spoke to the BBC.
Nick Jonas said, “For us it’s cool to see that he recognizes we are gentleman.” Brand also apologized to the trio after the remarks after the event.
Kevin also added, “We had a lot of friends there and everybody’s so nice. We had a good time!”
Despite the verbal jabs, Nick showed class and complimented Brand on his hosting job saying, “I think he did a good job. We saw him on Conan O’Brien and thought he was hilarious.” -- source and ontd
