“Usually, Malachy doesn’t get the girl,” Grint said. “Luke is more of the ladies’ man, but he’s a bit more dodgy. Malachy isn’t a geek, he’s a bit of a thug, but he starts off as basically a good kid. He goes to work, he has a good relationship with his parents, but he’s got some bad influences, so he gets into a bit of trouble.”Also discussed were the challenges of perfecting a Belfast accent, Rupert's knack for choosing films that "involve illegal things with cars," and a "little love scene." Read it all here! And thanks to Jennifer for e-mailing!
Plus two gorgeous brand new photographs <3
TMF chose Rupert for their list because: "It's been great to watch the three lead stars of Harry Potter mature before our eyes. While Rupert's role is supporting lead to Dan Radcliffe, the young actor is seriously considering other roles to further his acting career.
Grint is currently working on two different films- a dramatic-thriller, with a twist and a coming of age story entitled Cherry bomb, and an action-drama called Wild Target, featuring an impressive ensemble cast lead by Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt.
Oclumencia, the gods of HQ photos, have added some awesome new Order of the Phoenix promotional images to their gallery, as well as high quality versions of this 2004 Teen Vogue photoshoot.
Additionally, three of our Filmography pages have been updated and given new looks (guess which three!?!). We hope you find these more informative and help you find any pictures/articles you may be looking for! [HBP] [Cherrybomb] [Wild Target]

SnitchSeeker has gotten a hold of the first images of Rupert on the set of Wild Target. If you thought Rupert's look for Cherrybomb was a drastic change, well, think again!
These snaps show Rupert filming in the streets of London (one photo includes costar Rupert Everrett!) and in a car whose back window has probably seen better days...
UPDATE WITH HIGH QUALITY: HQ #1 | HQ #2 | HQ #3 | HQ #4 | HQ #5
UHP and HBPMoviePics have posted up exactly 53 new and unseen photos from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! Of these 53, about 9 feature Mr. Ronald Weasley.
Apparently, these images are all coming from the 2009 German HBP calendar. Some of them are around thumbnail size, but the quality is good, none-the-less!
The rest of the images featuring just about every single other character in the film can be seen here!
In an interview on Wales Online, she talks about filming Cherybomb:
“Rupert is lovely. We had a difficult love scene together one day and we were both really nervous. But he was really sweet and we giggled most of the day.”
Filming officially began on Tuesday, the 16th, and Empire Online has a great write-up revealing further cast and plot details.
Bill Nighy's renowned hitman, Victor Maynard, finds himself reluctantly saddled with two sidekicks – Emily Blunt, as a target he didn’t have the heart to kill, and Rupert Grint as a young man who chooses Victor as his mentor, in the mistaken belief that he’s a private detective.
And, as if that wasn’t enough to contend with, there’s the small matter of Nighy's domineering mother (Eileen Atkins)… oh, and Rupert Everett is also running around as the client who wanted Blunt dead, and now wants to kill Victor as punishment for letting her live.
Meanwhile, another article from a local Isle of Man newspaper reveals that filming will begin on the Isle next month (Oct 7th) for three weeks. It also gives out Rupert's character's name as Tony! Overall, however, filming for Wild Target will continue for the next 6 weeks. [Forum Topic]
We have photographs of him, posing in his golf gear...
Also, take a peek at these water globes from San Franciso Music Box Company:
We found out that Rupert recently lost a bet to actor Robert Pattinson, who was once part of the Harry Potter cast in a previous film, and insisted that Rupert read the bestselling book. Rupert is now "stuck reading 'Twilight'" and that Rob was just texting him to see how far along he was getting.
The entire article can be read here. [Forum Discussion!]
Natalie from R/E Fan has found these new outtakes from a Driving Lessons-era photoshoot Rupert did. Sadly, they are medium quality and watermarked, but very cool either way!
Our partner site, TLC, has received a very, very detailed review of the film which can be read here; more information has also been posted at the Leaky Lounge.
From the sounds of it, Rupert fans will not be disappointed! The scenes with Ron are described as being some of the funniest, and there's even talk that a certain Ron/Hermione/Lavendar scene was kept in contrary to what we thought after reading the Entertainment Weekly preview article (err...was that cryptic enough for you!?).
Thanks to Sue for mailing! And for anyone wanting to chat about the screening and spoilers, we have a forum topic at the ready!
There are three questions with Rupert where he talks about Chemistry, ping-pong, and the Lavendar Brown auditions. Read them all here!
We heard you checked out the top five actresses who auditioned to play Lavender Brown. What was that like?
(Laughs) Yeah, I went to some of the final stages of the auditions. It was really cool to be involved in that side of it, not that I really had any say. There were some good girls, but we didn't do the kiss. We didn't even talk about the kiss until the day we actually did it. But Jessie (Cave), who got the part of Lavender, is really cool.
