Thanks for your patience and hard work everyone! Your profiles all look amazing and I'm glad everyone gave their character info a makeover.

I'd like to thank everyone for sticking with the site this last year, there's been one or two dramas both OOC and IC, and I'm really glad you guys have stuck around. I love rping with you all and I think we've made a great team so far! However, I'm also really happy to say that despite most of the canons graduating, we're continuing the roleplay. Hopefully Carla will be joining us too once she's got internet access again, but let's try our best to improv without her until she gets back.

Dont forget, everyone, to update your appropriate fast friends lists. THE NEW SEMESTER HAS BEGUN!

Basically guys, I've decided to change over to the new semester just as soon as everyone's good and ready. So when all your plots for this semester are done and your profiles are updated, let me know and once you're ready I'll move everything along.

Unfortunately we won't be waiting for our less active members because, quite frankly, we'll be here till Christmas if we do that. I'm afraid stragglers will just have to catch up when they feel like it. I'll also be erasing anyone who hasn't posted in the last month or so (apart from Carla's characters because she actually has a valid reason for inactivity). Sorry!

Before I start, three new characters (leftwithnowords, nocturnalbite and wewillbefree) need to be added, and can be added using the Fast Friends post. Please do this. Thx.

So we're coming to that time of year. It's time to get things organised for the upcoming new semester, which will take place in late June/early July (you will be informed when we have a more exact date). So a few things need to be considered:

• All 7th years will be GRADUATING. This means that you will no longer be able to roleplay as them on the community unless there is a specific reason for them to be at Hogwarts. Even if there is, they will only be allowed to roleplay in LOGS, and will no longer have access to the Hogwarts network. Keep in mind that this means most of the canon characters will no longer be active members of the community. Graduates will be ERASED from the member list and fast friend removed.
  
• We will be also taking this as an opportunity to purge the site of unwanted/inactive characters. Therefore, please post in this thread telling us every character that you will be keeping, and any characters you wish to drop. Any character's name that is NOT mentioned within the next week or so on this thread will be erased from the member list come the new semester too, as it will be assumed that the character is no longer active.
• We won't force this on you, but please update your profiles. it'll make things a lot more organised and you'll need to change your character's age and year anyway. ;D

Our sister community fingertips_rp is now OPEN!!! Go plz.

Just to let you all know, our sister site fingertips_rp will be opening either tomorrow or Saturday. Everyone who already put a character by me is good to go, but if you're not sorted and passed by the time the site opens, you'll have to use the application post. Don't forget to READ THE RULES, as there are changes from the Runtogether rules.

Also, PLEASE don't let Runtogether die during this. Take Runtogether as priority at all times. If you have something to do on both sites, Runtogether comes FIRST, please! If the plot suffers because of Fingertips, I may consider temporarily freezing it for the duration of the plot.

Apologies for Nazism but Runtogether WAS here first. If anyone finds this too harsh feel free to point out your own thoughts and I'll consider.

If you don't, well basically it's another roleplay site.

Now that we're all caught up, where should runtogether's sister-roleplay be hosted?

We can either have it on livejournal or greatestjournal. Of course there are pros and cons:

• Livejournal accounts are a lot easier to get custom layouts for.
• We're all used to livejournal by now.
• Greatestjournal lets you have unlimited icons.
• Less likely to get the two rps mixed up if they're hosted by different sites.
• Personal preference for one of the other is also a factor.

So I decided to make a poll. VOTE, YOU FOOLS. ONE VOTE PER MUN, PLEASE, I can tell who's voted. And don't forget to comment. DISCUSS, PEOPLE.

HUGE update on the Fast Friends last night. Please update your friends lists accordingly!

Few wee things.

1. Sirius-mun is moving to Coleraine and will be without internets for a short while. The current mods at present are myself and James-mun.
2. A new addition to the fast friends list (chaoticomen) as well as two recent additions to Hogwarts (lostmasquerader and worldofwrong) should be noted. Please go to the Fast Friends console and add them all if you haven't already, as the next event may be starting soon and everyone should keep up to date with each other for this.
