Welcome to the first ever LiveJournal RuneScape community! It is dedicated to the online Role-Playing Game RuneScape. You may talk about the game, give tips, buy and sell game items, help others, and much more.

We'd love for this community to be friendly, helpful, and easy-going but like every community on LiveJournal that's not always possible. Because of this, rules are enforced. Repeat offenders will be banned permanently from the community at our discretion. Our rules are similar to RuneScape's official rules and are as follows:


Rule 1: Limit offensive language.
RuneScape has a no offensive language rule. This community has a similar rule which prohibits severely offensive words or actions. This includes personal attacks and racist remarks. Swearing isn't going to get you in trouble, but please, limit these words to a minimum. We do have younger members. Let's respect each other and try our best to get along.

Rule 2: No item scamming.
You must not scam or deceive other members. Lying to other members for your own personal gain is not in the spirit of the game or this community.

Rule 3: No password scamming.
Asking or trying to persuade another member to give you their password for any reason is against the rules and will not be tolerated. And remember, NEVER enter your RuneScape password anywhere but RuneScape.com.

Rule 4: Do not discuss cheating, bug abuse, or macroing.
You must not discuss the use of any cheats which you find in-game or otherwise. Any programs, such as bots, macros or autominers, are against RuneScape's rules. Do not discuss such things in this community.

Rule 5: Do not discuss trading, selling, or sharing your RuneScape account.
Each account should only be used by one person. Account sharing is not allowed in RuneScape and therefore should not be discussed here. Discussing it will only get you into trouble.

Rule 6: Use LJ-cuts.
If you are posting a large picture or a lot of text, please use an LJ-cut. They are simple and easy to use.

Rule 7: Familarize yourself.
Check our user info page often for rule modification. Our rules are subject to change at any time. Also, you are strongly advised to read all the rules and Frequently Asked Questions of both RuneScape and LiveJournal.
