EPAM, the largest provider of software technology outsourcing and e-commerce solutions in the former Soviet Union region, provides software development, e-commerce and content services to forward-thinking companies and government organizations in over 30 countries worldwide.
Founded in 1993, EPAM maintains North American headquarters in Princeton, NJ and European headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. EPAM offshore software development centers are located in Moscow, Russia and Minsk, Belarus.
The EPAM US facility supports Executive, Account and Project Management functions as well as high-level System Architecture and specialized consulting and deployment services. There are additional account management and sales resources in Minneapolis, Minnesota and London, the UK. Most system development work occurs in EPAM's state-of-the-art development facilities in Moscow, Russia and in Minsk, Belarus.
The cornerstone of EPAM's proven methodology is a local, on-site presence of at least one EPAM consultant to develop the business requirements and to manage the Project Plan combined with the strategic application of world-class offshore software development teams. EPAM's long-term involvement in the development of the Russian software industry, allows us to hire, train and retain the brightest talent in the former Soviet Union at extremely reasonable rates.
World-class talent and proven development processes allow EPAM to deliver advanced technology solutions at a great value. The applications produced on behalf of its customers combine the best of both custom and off-the-shelf software. This affords EPAM clients the opportunity to build "custom" and implement "standard". The total cost of ownership for software created in this manner is reduced, while functionality and maintainability are enhanced.
Software engineering processes in EPAM are certified to ISO 9001:2000. In September 2003 EPAM Minsk Development Center became the first software organization in Europe certified by SEI-authorized SCAMPIsm Lead Appraisers against the requirements of SEI Capability Maturity Model Integration® Maturity Level 4.
