It's open membership (for the time being) is giving you a level of trust that you will respect the purpose of the Catalogue and use it as it was meant.
The Posting Format.
All game ads/graphics/info blurbs must be posted behind a cut. In front of the cut is the following information:
That is you post the information for your RPG once only, and update the tags as necessary to make it easy for people to find your game. And for an explanation of The Tags etc, read here.
So...
The Rules.
1) If you don't like what you see in a game promo/ad/post then mosy on to the next one - trolling, rudeness, discrimination, flaming, nastiness and other actions of this kind will be met with the 'Mod of Madness' reaction, and this isn't something you really want to deal with. Seriously. Ask my kids.
2) When posting about your RPG make sure to use the 'lj-cut' for your ads - only post the information listed above in a format you can just cut and paste and fill in (removing the italicised bits as they're just guidelines). If you don't put your main content behind a cut I will ask you to, and if you don't respond/amend I will have to remove it. So pretty please? All those wonderful graphics and formatting things etc? Behind the cut.
3) Make sure to include all the information requested. I will possibly update that list when things are more underway and it becomes obvious what might need to be added - if you can update your ad, that's great.
4) Use appropriate TAGS! Feel free to update the tags you've selected (ie add more, or post here to ask me to add a new one or remove some if they're changed/no longer applicable). This is meant to be a catalogue, so there will only be the one post per RPG, and you can keep it up-to-date.
4)B And only use one ratings [g] tag. Seriously, how many times do you see a movie carrying 7 different ratings? Just the one people, just the one.
5) Please don't delete and repost your ad so it's at the top of the comm again... thanks.
6) Feel free to 'track' this comm, so when new RPGs are added you will be notified - you can even use the 'tags' to trim down to specific new posts. Ah the wonders of modern technology!
7) And! Let everyone know about the 'Catalogue'! It's both here and on IJ - feel free to post in both!

Link to Game: (link to RP info)
Opening/Opened: (start date)
Time Setting: (current/past/surreal/future)
Contact: (link to mod journal, or mod email address)
Age Limit: (ie, Open, NC-17, etc)
