Forms are working again

I checked all forms on the german and english version. I replaced some and added a spam protection. If you still find any errors, please don't hestiate to contact me.

English version is back

The english version of the site is finally back.

I worked very hard to bring it back online. All section should fit to the new layout, now. The pages got a new coding and I already replaced some pictures... like the old blurry screenshots in the "Episodes" section. But there are still some old pics in this category as well as old Cast profile photos.

If you find any php warnings, other errors or dead links, please don't hestiate to contact me!

I would like to replace all the old contact forms to new ones with spam protection, too. Some of the old forms on the page didn't work, so this is essential.

After that, I'll update some site content and I have some more nice ideas for the site, too. ...

Magazine Alert

The comedy "Knocked Up" hits theaters next week on August 23, 2007 in Germany. Because of that, Katherine is in different tv magazines.

Katherine Heigl is on the cover of the german tv magazine "tv GUIDE" # 17 (18. - 31. August). In the included interview, Katherine talks about male flat share, pregnancy tests and rude jockes. The programm mag costs 0,70 €.

After the summer break on the german channel Prosieben "Grey's Anatomy" will be back in its 3rd season on September 5.

In addition, the newest issue of the television magazine "TV Spielfilm" includes a summary and a short interview with Katherine Heigl.

Revamping, Scans

First of all, I'm pretty busy with revamping the site. I need to change the codes on every single page, so it's a lot of work. That's necessary because I decided to create a CSS-Layout without tables in it. Since, I'm just a beginner the design is very simple.. but I hope you'll like it.

Advent Calendars

Ok, the new layout is coming very soon. I found a lovely Majandra and Brendan picture in the gallery of b-fehr.og and decided to use it for the header picture.

I try to upload the new design tomorrow.

It's the fastest layout I every did.. ;D I just needed a couple of hours.

Because of some spamm-entries I found out that visitors can add news to Roswell.4fans.net. So, if you found a news item on the net, feel free to write a short item and send it in. After you wrote an entry, I receive an email notification.. and I've to activate the new entry. It's funny, there are so many functions in this news system ...

So, what do you think of a new layout? I guess it's about time. The last change was on April 16, 2006. This time, I'd like to emphasize the news and updates, as well as tv dates and movie or dvd releases....

Newsletter finally works....

I'm sorry, that it took so much time to fix the newsletter. I tried it a couple of times to find the mistake with the activation link, but I couldn't see the wood for the trees ;D

Today, I deleted the complete newsletter script.. installed it, again AND had the same problem. But I finally found the stupid mistake. Just a cute little "/" was missing...

Now, everything works. I hate this weird errors.. just because of a / or '

Short overview...

Just a short overview.. about the rebuilding after the hardware damage.

Katrin was so kind to help me creating new albums and adding the screenshots into them. It really takes a lot of time and since I hadn't internet access since thusday, she added all season three caps and all the others I hadn't finished. So, a huge THANKS to you Katrin! YOU ROCK!

In the last few days, I created some desktop "calendar" wallpapers, some icons.. and in addition, I finished capping the screenshots of 2 1/2 Roswell season 2 episodes. Yay.

I also got some help from Curly! Thank you for your news script help. I was totally lost with this news-database thing. *hug*

I guess, the gallery will be online very soon!

Started working on the gallery

Today, I installed the gallery script again plus added the Roswell catagories of the three seasons. The next step will be: creating the albums and add the pictures...

I received some emails because of the down gallery. PLEASE read the "Harware crash.." entry to find out why the gallery is offline. ;)

Hardware crash.....

The server on which Roswell.4fans.net is hosted sustained a hardware damage. This means, the gallery isn't working anymore. In addition, ALL well collected news items since 2001 are unavailable. I did a back-up some time ago, but I don't know how much content will be missing or how much time I need to fix the gallery. The hard drive isn't affected, so all the pictures, screenshots and scans aren't gone just the databank is affected by this damage.

Please, cheer me up....

Okay, one good thing is that the pictures aren't gone and I have them on my hard drive, as well. But the bad thing is, that I really don't have much time. I don't have summer holidays this year and the school is very stressful. Actually, I wanted to ask for some help.. concerning adding news, ....

I'll keep you up to date.
