AboutThe moderators of this community started it with one goal in mind- To share our love of HP Smut. There, we’ve said it…it’s out and we’re not ashamed (ok we’re a little ashamed but it’s all good!)
We want this to be a place where others can share their HP fanfic with fellow fans and where the smut can run freely, so if you have a ficlette, a multi-chapter fic or an out-take from one of your favorite HP fics, we want to read them!
We do have some ground rules though, before the posting and sharing and enjoying begins. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the deletion of your post so read them, love them…LIVE THEM!
1)All fic posted to this LJ community MUST be posted behind a Livejournal cut! There will be NO EXCEPTIONS! If you are not sure what a livejournal cut is… click HERE for a tutorial and How-To on posting behind the cut.
2)All fic posted to this LJ community MUST contain the following at the top of your post:
Title:
Author:
Pairing:
Rating:
Summary: (Please include a brief description of the your fics plot here. If you are posting an out take from a fic published by another author please credit them in your summary and if applicable provide a link to their work)
Warnings: (if your fic contains any content that you think may be found objectionable by any reader please add a brief warning here)
3)Het and Slash pairings are both acceptable as long as they do not contradict the H/G, H/R ships and as long as they don't involve adult characters in sexual sitations with underage characters.
4)Fics dealing with the following topics are NOT acceptable:
-Incest- Consensual or not it’s just gross and we don’t want to read about it!
-Bestiality-Because…well, if we have to give you a because than you just need help!
-Necrophilia- Because sex with dead people is just wrong any way you slice it!
The only exception to this rule is if one of the participants in the sexual act is “un-dead” i.e. a vampire. This is the only exception we will allow.
-Extreme Fetishes or Extreme Sexual Violence-This means, no rape,torture, non-con sexual acts of any kind, orgies, group sex (het or slash or both), adult/child fics and no graphic S&M. If this isn't clear enough for you, and you aren't sure if your fic falls into this category, send the mods a message and let us decide.
5)Pairings that contradict either the Ginny/Harry or Ron/Hermione ships will be removed. All other pairings (including slash pairings, such as but not limited to Sirius/Remus, Snape/Remus, Snape/Sirius, Draco/Pansy/Blaise, etc) are acceptable so long as they do not contradict the above mentioned ships.
**Moderators Note: As of March 1st Trio Fics will not be accepted. Sorry, but you'll get
over it. We're shippers and we love our ships, so they have to be given thier props at
all times!!!Word to your muggle!**
6)Fics containing gratuitous spelling errors, tense changes, lack of punctuation and net-speak will be removed. Take the time to go over your fic before posting it for errors-it shows the reader that you care!
7)Our focus is mainly on archiving R & NC-17 fanfiction, however fics with a rating of G or PG-13 will be accepted as long as they meet the above requirements. The more SMUT the better, but the warm fuzzies are nice sometimes too.
