02. Dude, she is BRAND NEW to the fandom AND the character. She HAS read the translated scripts of the games. I should know, because I gave them to her. She's going to make mistakes like any player does with a brand new muse in a brand new fandom. You know, HERE'S a shining idea, how about instead of making passive aggressive stabs at her over RPS, you help her out instead given that's what she wants. Jackass.

I know she is new hence the secret. I might have responded to a crit post at the time I saw her post but I did not see one in the character journal.

The secret was because she has a chance at becoming better unlike you.

02. There seems to be a lot of these kinds of secrets lately (and I had to go back through posts while I was on hiatus erk), and I have to wonder if it's because players are inaccessible (meaning, lacking a crit post or contact of some sort) or if RPers in general don't find those outlets effective anymore.

E-either way, it makes me worried. D: I'd hate to see a friend or someone I know critted in this way just because of a possible misunderstanding.

10. Meep, I do this sometimes, with certain journals because I find it helps me keep from spending more money than I need to on multiple journals and I don't have to always switch journals (because I'm really, very lazy). But I also understand why some people don't. If you don't, there's nothing wrong with that. There's no reason for you to feel like an idiot. I'm not sure, but in general don't most people use different journals for different rps? I think those that use one journal in multiple RPs are actually in the minority.

15. I... kinda wonder what the background of this is supposed to be. But the text is obscuring it. Intentional?

2. Yea it's her first time playing her, and like any person she's going to make mistakes. I don't really know the canon myself so I can't say anything in terms of her characterization of that particular character, but she's done great with many other characters in the past and she's a great roleplayer. Chill, jeez. RP is not srs business, and she has an HMD.

4. I sorta agree. I definitely don't want the mods to have to put the game over their RL things because...well I don't even have to say. But several people have talked to me about being stuck because of some information they dont have.

I myself haven't had too much trouble but I think once we get around this final bend of getting the info from the attack things will pick up a lot. They've got the locations up and it'll give people free reign to explore the city as they see fit.

They've just been having a tough time. Hopefully things will get easier / or they'll expand the mod team.

Crit, like any other collection of words strung into something intelligible, should be judged on the merit of its content rather than its speaker.

Theoretically, ideally, that is what anoynymous forces people to do. There's an ideology there that's far from ignoble.

Unfortunately, instead of being a way for someone to escape a reputation, anonymous has become weighted down by its been considerable reputation. People often look at unsigned comments as unsigned before they consider the merit of the words.
