Ok guys. I know things get busy (I'm there myself!), so I understand if people can't submit something every week. I rarely do in an icontest, myself. The only reason I'm going ahead and extending this is because I had a request by a member to extend it one more week. So, the extended deadline will be until Sunday, October 9th at 9 pm. This will be the only time I will extend a theme for that long. I'll also try to come up with an extra-special theme for the following week.
So, if you do want to still submit something (again, you can make up to three icons), then submit here.

• you can only use the bases provided to make your icon.
• you can only make one icon per base, up to three (3) icons.
• you can blend the two bases together if you want, but that counts as an icon for each of those bases that you used (so if you blend two bases into one icon, you can't use either of them in another icon).
• the icon must fit LJ standards, being no greater than 100x100 pixels, and under 40k.
• do not post your icon in any other communities or your own icon journal, please, until after the winners are announced. voting is to be anonymous. :)

Submissions will be due by Sunday, September 25 at about 9:00 PM. Just make sure you somehow include night in there, whether you make it appear to be at night in the icon, or it includes the word.

Sorry for the delay in posting this; today was my first day back at school, so it was hectic trying to get everything together last minute last night.
Anyway, in no particular order:

Also, what are people's suggestions to get this community back to having the amount of submissions it used to? Would more people submit if there were banners still awarded? If that's the case, would anyone be interested in being a banner-maker if we decided to do that? I can occasionally make banners, but I can't keep up with it. We'd probably need three or four banner-makers, just so that the same person isn't getting stuck making them all the time. What else would you be interested in?
