Hey all, it's Stix. I was just wondering what's still out there in terms of active games, and thought this would be a good resource to consult. With the exception of the tail-end of a Werewolf session, it's been over a year since I've played in a LARP or tabletop... and, well, the jones is upon me. Can anybody give me the down-low?

If pickings are slim and anyone's interested, I'm starting up a tabletop game -- Dark Sun, 2nd ed AD&D -- that'll run as people are available. The premise revolves around the PCs being gladiatorial slaves in an Aztec-style city-state, fighting to stay alive and scheming to escape. If anyone would like to discuss, I'm available on AIM as Fianna42.

I've been toying around with the idea of starting a LARP, but I don't know enough people in the area, or what appeals to them. Any suggestions?

Update of RWAG/RIT

Due to RIT's recent recategorizing LARPs, there will now be a fee in order to run these games on campus. Due to this change, many games have either canceled/moved. I will attempt to keep the information as up to date as possible, but if you know something I dont know, feel free to point it out.

(As example. I know both Stix and Topher had games, with websites, but I do not have the links. If those games are still being run, feel free to let me know their info, so I can post it as well.)

Side Note
As a side note, I also had an idea to at least attempt to help with expenses for those that now have to pay rent.
Would selling merchandise on a webstore be in violation with White Wolf in any way?
(example - CafePress. Who can make t-shirts/posters/post cards, etc. No white wolf copyrighted images/documentation at all. But rather photographs of the city, or drawings of characters, or simply text of the game name only. Etc. Would it be in violation for simply being 'about' a game? If so. oh well, I tried. If not, then whoever wants to, give me your ideas. I can create the store,any money made on it will go to camp it's about.)
