| Hi,
I've got an apartment I need to sublease for the summer. We are looking to move in July and have a lease until the end of November, so it's available July - November 30th.
The apartment is 900 sq. ft with a balcony AND a gas fireplace. It includes it's own washer and dryer. We are on a second floor corner, so we get lots of natural light with windows and have privacy. It's in a great location, walking distance to stuff on Chili Ave: Wegmans, KMART, Blockbuster, a gym, several pizza and Chinese places, hair salons, bars, etc. It's really close to Black Creek Park and the Genesee River for fishing and hiking, as well as only 5 minutes from RIT. There's a bus right outside the complex that goes to Gates, and it's a direct shot to drive to the mall area. There's also a community pool.
Rent is $790 and includes hot water, basic cable, and high speed internet.
It's an awesome apartment and we've loved living here for the past two years. Let me know if you are interested and I can send photos or arrange a time for you to come tour it.
Thanks!

| 1 or 2 rooms available it's $466 a room per month and that includes all bills except internet & cable (which is about $15 a month). The house is split into two apartments the first floor and then the 2nd & 3rd floor. I am looking for roommates to fill the second floor. The second floor has it's own entrance, two bedrooms, living room, bathroom and kitchen, it is more or less it's own apartment. I currently live on the 3rd floor and am required to be on the same lease as the 2nd floor but really the only thing that is shared is the internet as I have my own entrance too. I'm a 23 year old female recent graduate from RIT who is currently working in the area.

Hi everyone :-). I need one or two roommates to share an apartment with one girl and one guy next Spring 2007. It is fully furnished with a bed, dresser, and closet in each room. Downstairs there is dining room table, 3 couches, a TV, stove, dishwasher, refrigorator, etc. It even includes dishes and pots and pans. It has 2 full baths, including one which was just redone last year. The best part is that it is on Conesus Lake. It is less than 20 feet from the water, complete with own dock (when it is warm enough), barbeque grill, and fire pit. It is about a 10 minute drive from Geneseo's campus. The apartment is, as I said to be shared with one guy and one girl, and two cats. The place is beautiful and well kept; the landpeople always fix things immediatly when they are told something is wrong. There are also laundry facilities available. The cost is $416.50 a month, which include all utilities: Heat, water, garbage, electricity, and internet. There is also plenty of parking space available. If you would like to see it or have any questions please feel free to post back, email Lisa (lar9@geneseo.edu) or Lee (redclaw6269@yahoo.com) or call Lisa (315-212-6007) or Lee (716-930-2029). There are two rooms available, but they do not have to be rented simultaneously. If you rent one room and we do not find someone to rent the other, the rent WILL NOT go up; your share stays at $416.50 a month.....soooo if you are looking for a place on your own and have been having trouble finding one which is affordable this is probably perfect for you! Give us a call any time...Lee is easier to reach during the day. This is our second year out here so we can answer any questions you might have. For those who have facebook you can facebook Lisa Robbins at Geneseo and see some picutres of the place. Hopefully we'll be hearing from you! | comments: Leave a comment |

| Hey, I just moved to an apartment in Geneseo, and I'm a student at Geneseo State. I was wondering if anyone could let me know some good clubs/hangout places in or near Rochester. I've only been to Java's, and I know there's more out there. I'm going crazy bored in Geneseo.
Thanks! :0) | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
| I'm looking to either sublet one room in my two bedroom apartment from June-September or sign over my apartment completely in June. Perfect location, close to UR, MCC and RIT. Swimming pool and tennis court on location. HUGE backyard with a beautiful view and built in BBQ grills, great for get togethers.
The apartment is spacious, with 5 large closets, one in each bedroom, 2 in the living room and one in the bathroom. The apartment has lots of windows, very bright and includes a dishwasher, garbage disposal cable hookup air conditioner etc. Heat and hot water included, electric only comes out to about $40/month. Off street parking, 24 hour maintenence and snow removal.
Rent is $700/month + electric. $350 for the one bedroom. Located on Crittenden Road in Brighton. | comments: Leave a comment |
| I am sure that everyone in this community has noticed that gas prices have shot up through the roof--for no reason at all. Prices have shot up a dollar a gallon (13 dollars more for to fill a 13-gallon car ONCE) since last last year.
There is no reason for this, other than the oil companies can. There are four or five companies that own oil refineries here in the United States, and they are able to charge whatever they want for their oil regardless of how much they SHOULD be charging. With four or five oil refineries, there isn't any competition amongst them, so they can charge whatever they feel like.
The oil companies are making ridiculous amounts of money while we lose insane amounts of money by putting gas into our cars. I'm sick of it, and I'm sure you are, too.
That is why I'm proposing one day a month where a significant number of people here in Rochester will boycott buying any form of gas. Just one a day a month--if we can synchronize our gas boycott here in Rochester, the oil companies will be out millions of dollars in just ONE day. That will hurt their wallets, and send them a message.
They can control the prices, but we, the people, can control if and when we purchase their petroleum. I am sick of putting 35 dollars in my tank every week. I am sick of hearing that gas prices keep shooting up. And I am sick of hearing the oil companies claim that they're not being greedy bastards--and then reading that a guy in a suit that owned the company retires with 400 million dollars.
We need to stop being screwed in the ass by oil companies. We need to buy gas for our cars, but we can play a little game with them, too.
I want to designate Monday, May 15th as Rochester's Boycott Gas Day. If you are with me on this, let your family, friends, strangers, whatever--know in a passing conversation what this one day can do to the oil companies. The more people we let in on this, the harder hit the oil companies will be.
I will be putting up flyers in the places that I frequent, with permission, of course, and I will be passing this along via word of mouth as well.
While we can fight gas companies on our own, if we all fight together, we can send these oil companies a clear message. | comments: Leave a comment |
