A Community that celebrates the Strongest and Greatest Scene around : The Rivethead, Gearhead, EBM and Industrial Scene! So, Strap yourself in, and keep your arms and legs inside of das Maschinen and hold on! It's going to be ONE HELL of A RIDE! This is a community for enthusiasts and lovers of ALL the various sub-genres of Industrial Music. Feel free to post as many pictures, club/gig/tour info and set lists as you want! I made this community with the hopes that it would not just be a discussion group, but would also be a photo community. Show me your ugly mugs! Show me the scene in your area! YOU REPRESENT RIVETHEAD COUNTER-CULTURE!!! I don't care if your photos are artistic, crass, perverted, professional, childish or what have you. They could be of your pet snake eating your synthesizer for all I care! I just want you to post pics! I just prefer that they be somewhat "topic" related. Keep the pix, club fliers and DJ setlists Flowing! It's the people who take an active part in making it happen that make this scene so strong, and so wonderful to be a part of! Now, I hate to do this, but there has to be some sort of order to the chaos. So here ya go. Here are... 1. Post as many pictures, online fliers for gigs or clubs and/or DJ set lists as you want, but please use the lj-cut function. I guarantee you that whatever you post will not be over-looked or skipped. At least not by me. I love pix and club info. Just be aware that a lot of people have slower connections and when the aforementioned gets posted, sometimes it takes for-friggin-ever to load. That just gets so frustrating that you just want to go out and kill! I don't mind really long postings [as long as you use your head and don't post some insanely long post], it's the pix that make it load up slow. So, just think of other people before you post 100 pictures or some gigantic gawd-awful long and drawn out post! I'll give you only one chance, then it's to the curb. I will kick you out and ban you from ever posting in here again WITHOUT HESITATION, and WITHOUT A SHRED of REGRET. 2. This is a DRAMA-FREE ZONE!! It's not a sewing circle nor is it a place to argue over who is more l337 than who. If you want to bicker and argue with people, go join a Goth community. 3. Leave your politics behind you when you post here. I don't care what you believe in, keep it to yourself. I will not stand for Racist, Homophobic, Sexist or Oppressive remarks of ANY kind! I live in America, and I strongly believe that everyone has the inalienable right to believe in whatever the hell they choose to believe in. I will hang out with pretty much anyone and I like to think that I am an extremely open-minded person, but I will not stand for anything that even remotely looks like oppression. Being stuck up and l337 is ok, because we all know that being a Rivethead is ten times better than being "normal" and listening to what the media/radio/mainstream tells us to! I'd rather be shot in the nuts from a salt-rock rifle than to EVER have to hear another boy/girl band or rap/rock group [SMP excluded]! 4. It's not mandatory, but please try to keep your posts limited centered around the EBM, Synth/Future-Pop, NOIzE and Industrial Music scene, bands, shows, tours, DJ gigz et al. This will not be strictly enforced, however. 5. Feel free to talk as much shit as you want to about the bands you dislike, but do NOT discriminate against someone because of the bands they are into [That includes Schiller mit Heppner and/or Wolfsheim fans -oosp! Did I say that?! heh] 6. This is not a community for selling your personal crappy goth clothing, your smelly used industrial t-shirts or your scratched up CDs. If someone asks in the open forum for sites to buy clothing, feel free to respond, but I don't want any of you posting links to your ebay sites in the open forum. If you have a legitimate business website, send me the link and a banner, and I will consider posting it in the community user info page. First infraction of noncompliance will result in a deletion of your post. Any further failure to abide by this easy and simple rule will get you banned. Hands down. It's as simple as that.
